We were told of Mary, the daughter of Catherine of Aragon and her seven years purging of things protestant. We were not told but little about Catherine of Aragon, except of her inability (or Henry the Eighth's) to have another son. A divorce followed.
Wikipedia deals kindly with her. How she pled successfully for people who had rebelled. The punishment was worse than death. Other instances indicate she was a woman before her time.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Yes, Catherine of Aragon was a lady who suffered quite a lot at the hands of her husband, but bore it all with grace and strength. She was a devout Christian, as well.
The good “doctor”, educated man that he is, has no idea who she was. Maybe he was chopping cadavers the day they discussed Tudor history.
