Unions representing journalists and technical staff at radio stations and TV channels are holding a 24-hour strike from 6 a.m. on Monday to protest the “dismantling” of labor regulations.

The journalists’ unions are also protesting a decision by publishers not to sign a collective contract with their employees.

The actions means there will be no media coverage on Monday and no newspapers on Tuesday.

I think this is funny. The German courts rule that it’s “okay” to use German taxpayer money to bail out the Greeks and save the Euro. Then, first the transportation workers immediatly go on strike last week, and now the state media!!! They don’t “like” the hardcore reforms needed to bring Greece out of the toilet financially, but the country is bound to them with the financial bailout. This is SO predictable, and an object lesson in “there is never enough money for the entitled.” Doesn’t matter if they are union leftists, welfare leftists, health care leftists, doesn’t matter. There is no satisfying them. They will demand and demand your country right into bankruptcy and ruin. Their brains just don’t get it. When will Americans “get it?” Scary, cuz I think we will repeat the European financial disaster - we are WELL on our way.
