AP Reports Imaginary Crowd as 'Largest Yet of the Obama Campaign'
Breitbart ^

Posted on 09/24/2012 5:37:23 AM PDT by Perdogg

The mainstream media is faking every number is can get away with to save President Barack Obama. Not content with weighting poll samples with absurd Democrat margins, or spinning high unemployment rates, the media is now faking crowd numbers for Obama's events. The Associated Press is the latest offender, calling a Milwaukee, Wisconsin crowd that did not exist "the largest yet of Obama's reelection campaign."

Since I refuse to watch or listen to ANY of the “O” blather, are the MSM visuals all ‘tight’ shots ... to make sure you can't get a realistic idea of the size of the ‘crowd’?

The London Independent was parroting this last night — that Obama spoke before a huge, enthisiastic crowd of 18,000 in Milwaukee. The “press” really has crossed the line to the old media of the Soviet Union, the difference being that the latter really didn’t try to create the impression it was legitimate - a typical headline in the Old USSR would be “Maximum Leader Brezhnev/Chernenko/Kosygin was stopped 88 times for wild, joyful applause by the party central committee.” Is it that much different with NBC, CBS, ABC, NY Times and the Washinton Post??

crowd that did not exist

Well, neither does their dear leader.

Empty Chair in Chief gets empty seats crowd.

Of course, these kinds of events have a major tramatic impact on TOTUS.

Nope. And the more they do this, the bigger the hole they are digging for themselves?

What is it with presidential elections, AP, and Milwaukee? Isn’t Milwaukee the place where an AP reporter “heard” racist chants at a McCain rally, or something?

We are living through Soviet style propaganda... Here's Romney's crowd last night on CO. The same Romney who is all but finished and his supporters know it. Who is losing ground in the polls (yet has actually gained ground in the past 2 weeks).

I prefer to label it the “Joseph Goebbels School of Journalism.”
No, I do NOT call them NAZIS. It is the JOURNALISTIC philosophy that is the same, and they strive for the same results.
I reject the PRAVDA similarity because Pravda did not even pretend to be ‘journalism’ in any way. I don’t recall Pravda denying that it was what it truly was.
Our media——oh well.

Here's a picture of the crowd:

Oops, my mistake. It's Romney's crown in Denver last night.

crowd of 18,000 in Milwaukee

I read one thread or post that implied that the Obama event was held indoors, in an arena that had a max capacity of 5,000, even though the MSM were using the 18,000 number.

MSM are so complicit that they don't even blush when they get caught lying for Obama and the Dems. They just parrot the Obama election slogan: FORWARD!

Wow, that is a huge crowd for Romney in Colorado. There is not a peep about this in mainstream media but plenty of photos showing Obama yukking it up with MC Hammer, Whoopi Goldberg and all the rest of that Hollywood/gangster rap crowd.

What saddens me is that I have more respect for Pravda than our own media.

You EXPECT a bunch of commies to act like commies.

I watched my father work in the defense industry for years - fighting the commies in his particular way.

I think of all the soldiers - all the Cold War warriors - even all the politicians and past presidents who could agree on one thing....communism is evil.

And here we are - our press has morphed into a bunch lying commie bastards doing their best to support a commie takeover.
Unbelievable.

There’s no need to manufacture crowds or embellish facts, and that goes for both sides.

The article plainly says there were 5,000 people there to hear Barry’s blather.

That is NOT a “crowd that did not exist,” but rather one much smaller than what was reported.

The mainstream media is faking every number is can get away with to save President Barack Obama.

Breitbart.com has obviously spent tons of money on stupid fonts and flashy flash for their website.

Could they spend a few dimes on proofreading?

Sure we can figure it out, and speed is of the essence these days...but it's like potholes in the road. Sure the road is there, you can get where you're going, but it's going to jar your teeth out of your mouth.

Broken windows theory applies!

——the largest yet of Obama’s reelection campaign.-——

The statement could be true. The people gathered could be the largest assemblage yet in the campaign but still small in absolute numbers.

The question becomes, at what point does an assemblage become a crowd?

One of the big differences between Hitler and Obama is that, at least Hitler could draw a crowd. LOL.
