What joke? I assume you’re referring to the tragic tale of the Figarawee Indians in the southwest hundreds of years ago.

I learned of their history from a renowned anthropologist on a beach off the Colorado river deep in the Grand Canyon and I’ll never forget my tears of sorrow as their fate was related.

Its a long history but basically the Figarawees long ago were suffering through a terrible drought and game for sustenance was so scarce that the Chief decided that the tribe must split in half and each go in opposite directions hoping to find better hunting grounds.

Families were separated and years passed but the drought eased and the game returned but whenever they’d stop to camp the Chief would climb up to the highest elevation and turning to each compass point he would cry out “Where the Figarawee?”

Sad. Very sad story. I don’t know what’s so funny. ;-)
