It would just be another bump in the road for Obama

They had better do it fast while Obozo is still in office.

If the polls are any indication we are fixing for a landslide... And Obama is going to be buried under it.

If they do, it’ll be the biggest military mistake by a Persian since Xerxes crossed the Hellespont.

Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad’s in the United States where he meets with OWS who seeks to overthrow our free-market, capitalist Republic. Iran has threatened to bomb American bases and wipe Israel off the map. AHMADINEJAD IS A TERRORIST. ARREST HIM IMMEDIATELY.

Does the phrase, “Run silent, run deep” mean anything to you, General ?

Is it customary for mere Brigadier Generals to announce a country's foreign policy?

Beg pardon, but I think it's time to worry about personal response to asymmetrical warfare, rather than strategic response over which we have no control.

Iran is not going to commit suicide by throwing itself against a metaphorical Maginot Line. And that means things could get somewhat...empirical.

I have always held (half-seriously) that the US and the Russkis had a scheme going. Russkis sell tankiye to ME client, da?

And Americans blow them up. Russkis then sell more toys to the ME nations in the hopes that they get blown up again.

Odd sales gimmick, I know, but as the article says the Russians and Chinese are not in an hurry to get involved.

We have not had a problem with running out of ordinance, it’s lack of targets.

Everyone seems to assume that the iranians would launch a missile attack on Tel Aviv, through probably the most monitored airspace in the world. When in fact if they do ever light one off, either as themselves or through a terrorist proxy group, it will be in a shipping container in Antwerp or some such place that no one was expecting.

Reminds me of the exchange between Jimmy Cagney and the Russian Trade Delegation in the movie "One, Two, Three"

C.R. MacNamara: Cigarette? Cigar?

Peripetchikoff: Here, take one of these.

C.R. Macnamara: Thanks. Hm, 'Made in Havana'.

Peripetchikoff: We have trade agreement with Cuba. They send us cigars, we send them rockets.

C.R. Macnamara: Good thinking.

*Macnamara coughs on cigar*

C.R. MacNamara: You know something? You guys got cheated. This is a pretty crummy cigar.

Peripetchikoff: Do not worry. We send them pretty crummy rockets.

Iran doesn't have the resources to fight a WW3. Imo they might have enough
to lemming all their young with sticks and knives like they did at Hussain
"Not Barrack Hussain Obama". I doubt anybody would want to occupy Iran at all.
Just blow them up good and walk away.

Blowing off steam—no Iranian will do anything so open—Terrorism with proxies yes, but direct action—no.

In better days when this country had political and military leadership, pieces of Imanutjob's plane would be scattered across the Atlantic Ocean.
