Now, back when our great-grandparents were riding that Underground Railroad, back when John Lewis was marching across that bridge in Selma, and Jim Clyburn was sitting in an Orangeburg jail, the injustices we faced were written in big, bold letters on the face of our laws. And while we may have had our differences over strategy, the battles we needed to fight were very clear.

First, as we all know, the Underground Railroad has NOTHING to do with Barak H. Obama, as his ‘Black’ half is Kenyan. About Michelle, I don’t know, but she is not the one running for office, is she!? Second, most all of the ‘Conductors’ on the Underground Railroad were WHITE as were almost all of the Union Soldiers who won the US Civil War.

These people smell bad things and they are pulling out all stops to get their base voters fired-up to go out and vote. I don’t mind so long as it is only once, but of course that makes me a racist!

The first person to own a black slave in North America was a black man named Anthony Johnson and he had to go to court to make it legal for one person to indefinitely own another person. The slave’s name was John Casor. I’ll bet that’s not talked about in any black history class.

Appearing today before the Congressional Black Caucus, First Lady Michelle Obama proposed that Congress should fund a special project she proposed, in an effort to deepen the connection to important events related to the emancipation of African Americans from slavery.

"I always heard about this underground railroad", she said "but I've been all over the country, and I've never seen one - I assume that's because they're still underground." The First Lady went on to propose a special project for the location and excavation of these long lost historical sites. "Somebody must know where one is" she said. "So we just need to start funding a dig, so we can protect and preserve this important part of our history."
