Where’ve you been the last forty years, pastor?
You sold your soul long ago, but now you’re waking up to see you’ve been serving the devil all this time?

I hope you won't be so hard on the bishop and those like him. Every Christian in every generation has had to deal with when to leave and when to stay, in any institution with which they have been active or affiliated. Sometimes, it is worth staying to try to turn it around. Sometimes it is best to abandon the institution immediately. And sometimes, the Christian just simply feels as if the Lord has a place for him or her there. The Bible is full of illustrations of men and women staying the course, until they either died there, or the Lord led them away. The Apostle Paul went on to Rome, the most anti-Christian place in the world at the time. I rather suspect he knew he was going to die there.
