I didn't think that exchange over her heritage at the debate last week had drawn any blood, but evidently it did. There's no way her team would waste resources in addressing this subject unless they didn't like the feedback they got afterward. And if that doesn't convince you, check out the second clip below: Brown is now running attack ads on it. I wonder what sort of nerve this is hitting in the polling for it to suddenly be injected back into the race. Is it a pure "trust" thing or are her academic credentials more important to her candidacy than thought? If you watch the debate clip again, you'll find Brown complimenting her as a "good teacher" at one point, but that's at odds with the thrust of this argument, which is to suggest that she got where she is not on merit but due to “diversity.” I’m really surprised that it’s re-emerging down the stretch, and that she’s willing to play defense on it rather than spend her time trying to tie him to Romney and the GOP.
The defense, incidentally, is predictable: Brown’s not attacking her, he’s attacking her family. The monster.
The state must be filled with "OH YEAH,LIE TO ME, I DON'T CARE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE a BIG 'D' TAGGED ON TO YOU" people...

Indians do not need law licenses in Mass, they are sovereign entities onto themselves. Thus LyingDeerInTheHeadlights is not in violation of the law or her customs.
I think Warren is done, especially if Brown pursues the problem with her law license.
At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was sanctioned for it. I am not sure of the penalties in MA, but I don’t think they would pursue it until after the election.
Well if she said she received no benefit from this lie, I guess that settles it.

I remember my grandmother saying she could trace the Thornburg side of our family back to Pocahontas. I can’t prove she ever said it nor can I prove it’s true, so why should I claim it and open myself up to ridicule.
Fauxcahontas better hope she wins or she may be out on the street selling Indian pottery and beads. As liberal as they are, I don’t think Harvard will take too kindly to her practicing law without a license. That kinda jabs you right in the face when you’re trying to teach an ethics class and one of your own faculty is guilty as sin. And the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers will have to take some action or any Joe Blow could go in and start practicing law, even Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, and others who have lost their license.
