I didn't think that exchange over her heritage at the debate last week had drawn any blood, but evidently it did. There's no way her team would waste resources in addressing this subject unless they didn't like the feedback they got afterward. And if that doesn't convince you, check out the second clip below: Brown is now running attack ads on it. I wonder what sort of nerve this is hitting in the polling for it to suddenly be injected back into the race. Is it a pure "trust" thing or are her academic credentials more important to her candidacy than thought? If you watch the debate clip again, you'll find Brown complimenting her as a "good teacher" at one point, but that's at odds with the thrust of this argument, which is to suggest that she got where she is not on merit but due to “diversity.” I’m really surprised that it’s re-emerging down the stretch, and that she’s willing to play defense on it rather than spend her time trying to tie him to Romney and the GOP.
The defense, incidentally, is predictable: Brown’s not attacking her, he’s attacking her family. The monster.
I am so looking forward to Warren’s concession speech on Election Night. She may lose it totally.

Elizabeth Warren is an academic. As one, you would assume she would seek the truth of the family stories she was told, because facts trump heresay.
If she was truly proud of her heritage, it is not that expensive to obtain a subscription to ancestry.com or go on free sites like family search, look at the census returns and vital records, and find out if the stories were plausible.
But she failed to do that...and it is obvious that she feared the stories were just that...stories...and thus she would be ineligible for student aid.
Now, amateur genealogists looked at her tree and found 100% white ancestry. It sickens me on the level that a COLLEGE PROFESSOR GRADES HER STUDENTS ON FACTUAL EVIDENCE. She declined to use factual evidence when speaking of her own genetic heritage.
I personally met John Kerry twice in the 1990s when I was a student in Boston...he was arrogant and rude to myself and my friends...and I was a liberal at the time.
Howie Carr has 100s of stories of Kerry being rude to common people, wanting privileges like good seats and ahead of people in lines, pulls the “don’t you know who I am?” stuff when he is challenged for his rudeness, and yet he is never challenged on his lack of humility.
