Romney has never become a conservative anyway, so your insults against Reagan don’t even serve a purpose, they are just gratuitous slaps at freepers and Reagan.
Romney is liberal, has always been liberal, he despises conservatism and wants to defeat it, and he despised Reagan.
Romney started out as liberal, and kept moving left, the more influence that Reagan had in America. Romney is an enemy of Reagan and conservatism.
Now you praise Romney as conservative which is a lie, as you denigrate Reagan.

You made the stupid decision to cheer on the troll like statement that we at freerepublic would be against Reagan because he was too liberal, like Romney is today.

I said Romney was my last choice. He was. But if he made me “ puke” or I thought he was “a disgusting pile of dung” (your words) I wouldn't be voting for him. He's not the perfect candidate, but he's not Satan incarnate either. You are the one taking everything to extremes. Not everyone thinks (or wants to) think like you. There isn't going to be a Ronald Reagan in every election and stomping your feat and not voting for the Republican candidate just gives the Socialist in chief more time to consolidate his parties power.
If you read my post 49 then you know that “hindsight” doesn’t apply to me, I lived through Reagan, I knew all about Reagan, and fulfilled my wish to serve under Reagan.
I know that Romney doesn’t repulse you, that is why all this Reagan smearing posting and insults to freerepublic, you are a true romneybot.
Of course FR would not be 100% for Reagan, the Romney supporters would reject Reagan just as Romney did. That is why we end up with anti-Reagan threads like this, they are in service to the Reagan hating Romney.
Oh would you just give it up? BUT and i say but...i would take him anyday over what we have now.
He did so many great things during his 8 years, but his greatest accomplishment was being our greatest war time president.
Reagan won the war that would have destroyed the world, and he did it with little loss of life.
Reagan was at least the greatest president of the last 150 years.
