Arming the ships worked. So much for anti gun nuts!

Russians were executing prisoners. Stupid Americans sent them to the US for trial.

The article mentions an EU navy attack that destroyed weapons, equipment and fuel in May of 2012. This is the first I heard of it. Anyone else hear of it?

I feel as though I am living in the old Soviet Union, where people learned of events months or years later.

It goes against the pacifist, PC fantasy world that a lot of the MSM lives in, but the way to stop pirates is to kill them. When they attack a ship, shoot them. When you catch them, do what the Russians did — set them adrift in the middle of the ocean to die of thirst and hunger. We don’t need any treaty to do that.

Only in the age of wimps could a few guys in a skiff armed with AK47s dream of taking over a cargo ship. Its amazing the phenomenon lasted as long as it did since the answer to the problem was so obvious (to conservatives).
