Now we took some emergency actions, but that accounts for about 10 percent of this increase in the deficit, and we have actually seen the federal government grow at a slower pace than at any time since Dwight Eisenhower, in fact, substantially lower than the federal government grew under either Ronald Reagan or George Bush.

Fact: He increased the deficit by more than half in less than four years.
Fact: BLS says that when Mr. Obama took office, there were 111-million folk on non-farm payrolls; in 2012 there were only 111.3-million folk on non-farm payrolls.
More than doubles the debt and the economy has created nearly zero jobs.

He's actually making the case that he is powerless, inept, and incapable of doing anything to improve the fortunes of American citizens, and by extension, that the best possible solution, is the election of his rival.
You know that our current CIC will say that he inherited the deficit at some time during the Presidential debates, he can’t help himself. When he does, I hope Romney jumps on his statement.
