If you want to pull out conservative credentials don’t do it in public and embarrass the rest of us.
"The men have no jobs" is a general statement, implying that the set of men with jobs is effectively the null set. Twenty-five percent unemployment implies that seventy-five percent DO have jobs.
My statement was "Find a man who has a good job", meaning "Of the total set of men, select from the sub-set of men who happen to have an income that will support more than just himself".
