United Way’s chosen fund is usually some crap no sober,freedom loving person would ever voluntarily donate to.
Also, if you specify a decent charity, they reduce the amount they give that charity from their general fund and give the same amount from your designated donation. The places we choose do not actually get more money if we select them through UW. That disgusts me.
