Yes, Oregon is very similar to Washington state. For both states, most of the conservatives live east of the Cascades. There are some exceptions...such as myself, conservatives who live on the westside...but we are in the minority.

I haven’t paid attention to Oregon television/radio lately. But I would expect that O would carry the state. BUT if O loses Oregon, Katie bar the doors...it’s going to be a Willard landslide.

I haven’t seen ONE new bumpersticker or yard sign in either
Grants Pass or Medford. Now Ashland, that’s another world.

Oh you’re talking about one of my fav o rite areas of Oregon. If I could...I would move to S Oregon around Medford. Heck...even Ashland. Oregon is a beautiful state, from the coast to central Oregon to southern Oregon.

Another skewed poll. If The Won is only pulling 50%, then the down ticket is in a LOT of trouble.

If Obama can't do better than 50% in the People's Republic of Oregon, it's not just the down ticket that's in trouble.

So according to this poll, Obama has lost 16% from his 2008 total, but Romney has only gained 1% from McCain?

My brother ran a concrete construction business in Salem for 22 years (just shut it down) and he never saw anything ‘conservative’ about the place.

Regulations up the wazoo.

“Forgive me for my bad memory. Do I know you?”

You do now. It’s simply my way of saying “Hello” to FReepers on FR. If you check my posts, you’ll see me saying hello all over the place.

Cheers, FRiend.

You know I didn’t even pick upon that! You’re right. They didn’t even qualify that ALL surveyed were even REGISTERED voters. If Obama is at 50% of just plain schlubs who may not even vote at all, this is a disaster for him.
