Schools are government indoctrination camps. Here’s a teacher’s page from a top Chicago grammar school. He teaches social studies.

Make sure you check out his photo.

The “good” speeches list: https://sites.google.com/site/mrbarashsocialstudies/home/speech-links

These kids are raised up by socialists in a leftist propaganda echo chamber. These kids go on to become our “elites”.

"...What I enjoyed most about my work was the knowledge that I was impacting people's lives in a positive way. After a brief foray into the for-profit sector and the world of start-ups, I realized that I missed that feeling of doing good and decided to pursue a career in education. As a teacher, my goals are to empower students to see the world beyond the limitations of their own experiences, to develop the skills to give voice to their ideas and to develop the courage to try and positively change the world..."

You have this guy pegged spot on, 101ORD.

Granted, he is one of those who would bring a young child to an "Occupy Whatever" event, and his choices of "good" speeches tars him pretty accurately and lets you easily see what that "world beyond the limitations of their own experiences" he wants to paint for his students.

I am certain his foray into the "for-profit sector and the world of start-ups" was indeed very brief, and I have a feeling his exit from those sectors was a mutual agreement, but I suspect they people he dealt with in those sectors were thrilled to get rid of a pontificating no-load, and he was happy to get out of it while he still had any of his evil money left and into a unionized teaching job with lots of nice guaranteed benefits normal people never have a chance at.

I like to divide liberals up into three types: the normal ones who are decent and good-hearted, but don't understand the implications of the things they believe in; the ones who spout the party line with fevered eyes and spittle on their lips-they REALLY believe this stuff, but don't understand it; and lastly, the ones who really UNDERSTAND what liberalism is really all about, power, and the control of others in order to achieve an impossible utopia. If you have ever read 1984, these people may be likened to O'Brien, and in today's world, those people would be William Ayers, Francis Fox-Piven, Obama.

I know many people in the first third, and engage with them occasionally. The second third are exceedingly unpleasant, and I have met them at various demonstrations and counter-demonstrations. The last third I avoid.

This loser is the middle third. He doesn't know that the last third, the ones who really understand liberalism, view him in much the same manner as the last third views us, but with even more contempt.

To them, this Chicago teacher guy is a tool. Someone for whom the term "useful idiot" was originally created. In a way, it is sad, because if that last third gets their way, this dope is going to be one of the people who disappears in the middle of the night, pleading in puzzled tone as they take him away "Why are you doing this? I agree with you! I believe in what you believe in! Why am I being treated this way?

He will never understand that they view him as a tool, and tools have a duality in their nature...they can be used either to build something up or tear something down. A tool used to build something can also be used, with the appropriate guidance, preparation and application, to tear that very same thing down.

They know this. And it is why you see the Soviet Union, China, Khmer Rouge, etc. liquidate the intellectuals, doctors, teachers, writers, leaders. They only want them as tools to gain an end, and once they gain that end, they know how dangerous they can be to their own cause.
