Here’s a couple things I can pretty much guarantee through experience.

The police report will make no mention of the racial epithets against the victim, and the assailants did not all know each other; it was just free kick time.

Some of these people are Univ of South Carolina students, bet on it.

I just moved from that area last year. I used to eat at Five Points, there were some good places to have meetings etc. But the racial problems in Columbia are obvious, just looking for a spark.
