The University of Houston & the ADL are teaming up to present a seminar titled "Racists, Bigots, & the Law on the Internet". It will be held October 4, from 3 to 5 PM in the Krost Hall in the UofH Law Center, 4800 Calhoun Road, entrance 19. It is free & open to the public. Since conservatives- especially Christian conservatives, are frequently accused of "racism", "hate", & "bigotry" and organizations like the Family Research Council have been designated to be "hate groups" by the Southern Poverty Law Center & the Anti Defamation League, etc- this seemed like something at least some of us would like to know about & possibly even attend. It seems pretty obvious- & in sequence with, the way things have been ramping up lately.
Personally, I think they deserve a silent protest concerning our First Amendment rights. But that's just me.
I draw the line at producing and posting kiddie porn. Maybe not even viewing it. I realize it wouldn’t exist without a market. But something feels wrong about punishing people for looking when it’s there.

I have come to the inevitable conclusion that there are worse things in the world than racism...but try telling that to a liberal racist!
The internet in particular is under siege because it is replacing the “legacy media” for an increasing number of American voters; the libs are losing their monopoly on publicly-expressed sentiment, and it rattles them.
In the same manner that they publicized the names of opponents of “gay marriage”, they want to know the names (and workplaces) of people expressing thoughts on the internet. “Cyberbullying” (actually the laws to prevent it) seems to be the guise under which they attack this one.
You know where they are going with this, however I imagine if you installed a key logger on their computer you would find that they are just as guilty and probably engaging in questionable activities themselves. We cannot allow the left you tread in these water because if they succeed in swaying public opinion to change the law of freedom of speech, freedom of thought is their next move and they will never stop until the rules are conformed to “their” ideals” and all will be punished that do not agree with “them”. It will be the beginning of the end of freedom in this country. We need to figuratively kick this idea in the nuts to expose it for what it is.

I thought we reached that when supporters of the anti-”gay marriage” measure in CA, and registered gun owners in other places, had their names publicized. A frightening precedent designed to intimidate/cow people into submission.
@ kearnyirish Ironic, isn’t it? They are all that they accuse others of doing/ being- & people buy it? I think that losing control is part of it, but another part is the whole NWO/ communism push. It’s happening in Europe, too (I didn’t really realize the extent till lately).
@ equiviator- except...we’re not. They are. They hate Whites, hate Christians, hate America & the American way of life. They want to utterly “wipe those things off the face of the planet” (to borrow a phrase). Then, we when we don’t go along quietly, they accuse *us* of being the racists. I don’t hate anybody- & I am positive that 99+% of conservatives AND White Nationalists don’t, either. The radical left has lowered the bar *so* far that simply wanting to opt out, live & let live & hang out with your own race/ faith/ lifestyle is some sort of hate. “Join us or die”. Yikes! On the other hand, oppression & tyranny lead to hate. I can see that coming from here.
@ Hardraade- I am just learning about this. I am usually more about doing something positive & blowing off the bad people. I’m not sure I/ people have that luxury anymore. Thank you for the tips (noted & bookmarked for shortly). I may not know the names, but I can easily see them facilitating bloodshed, too. Ours.

@ Tublecane- I do, too- that, & sedition (though what a conundrum when you’re in the position...well, never mind. I imagine this is obvious to about everyone here) Ironic that convicted criminals- murderers & even rapists, know exactly what to do about pedos. We should take the hint. If child pornography weren’t there, there wouldn’t be any to look at. Problem solved (now, to make sure there’s none there). Actually, porn of any other kind should be relegated to the “dark net” (or whatever it’s called), too. (I recall a “news” story- Daily Beast, or one of those, back in the day, about Karl Rove’s father- or Ken Starr’s- I forget. Anyway, it made me want to rip my eyes right out of my head) I am fully convinced that pederasty is the next thing slated for “mainstream”. God Forbid!
Thank Y’All for your replies. None of our leaders are addressing the accelerated loss of our freedom. There is just no common sense. Where is the man (or woman) who *begins* by saying “America is no longer a free country”? Because it’s not.
