The first presidential debate is only a week away, but the L. A. Times is laying the groundwork to explain a bad Obama performance in the contest. In a September 26 article, L. A. Times writer Christi Parsons is already foreseeing the possibility of a rocky Obama performance. Her reason why Obama may under perform? He's busy.
As far as Parsons is concerned, Obama is at a disadvantage for the up coming debates because he is busy being president and has less time for debate practice than Romney.

All Romney has to do is repeat what he did to Gingrich in Florida and this race is over.
She also knows that without a teleprompter or total control of questions, Obama isn’t very good.
Why not explain. The Obama media has been explaining his poor performance for almost 4 years now. We expect the same BS we have been getting so far.

Obama will be given all the questions ahead of time; he will study up and his answers will be polished. The moderators will protect him at all cost.
Agree completely. If Obama has a bad night after this kind of advantage, he truly is an incredible imbecile.
I thought I read somewhere that they both would have a copy of the questions. If thats true, it would be the only thing that would save obama.

As I posted on a previous thread, he’ll not only have the
questions, he’ll have scripted answers in simple language that won’t allow him to trip himself up. He’s taking three days off to prepare to read those answers. The “busy” narrative won’t fly.
“Mr. pResident, what are your kids names?”
“Mr. Romney, Exactly how many rounds of ammunition were fired in Iraq from 2006 through 2010, not counting those
fired during Ramadan, and what caliber were they?”
The liberal media are trying to lower expectations for Obama. That’s a waste of time when every sensible American expects nothing but wrong answers and destruction from that community organizer.
Hers is exactly the opposite conclusion an intelligent person would reach:
If he’s so busy and focused on doing his job, then in a debate for his job, he should be able to rattle off anything about his job, right off the top of his head.
He should have complete command of the debates.
Obama has mastered the Black NFL Player shtick: look cool, be a clown — and the American people will forgive any lack of talent or egregious behavior.
