I agree with others. What is so shocking? This is his left hand, not the right to start with, and all kinds of people make gestures during speeches that taken alone can mean anything, but int he context of the speech is meaningless other than to emphasize the speaker’s verbal expression.
Now they will try to say that Bibi is a Hitler in disguise? That Romney is his dupe, etc.? They are looking for ANYTHING b/c this president is up the creek without a paddle in a BIG way!

Exactly, but consider this. You are an editor in a meeting with a number of journalists. Your photographer has sent 400 pictures taken during the speech. You think the picture of the raised arm is the best picture because it captures the man while he is animated and puts action into the photo. All very innocent.
However, based on the reaction here that many see this photo as reminiscent of a Nazi salute. You know the history and yet you still lead with this photo? The choice of this photo ranges from an innocent choice, an ignorant unfeeling choice, or a deliberate malicious choice.
Which was it? I would not be surprised it was malicious.
