But the president is not applying his own doctrine where it would benefit the United States the most — in Syria

all these people who are calling for a US intervention in syria, who the hell do they think will take over ? the “rebels” are the same muzzie mob that was in egypt and libya.

if assad goes the way of mubarak and gaddafi, it will only increase the power of the muslim brotherhood

Stay as far away from Syria as possible

The best outcome for the USA is what is happening now - Assad and the Islamists in a long death struggle which neither wins.

Yeah - let’s spend time, money and blood to set up yet another regime that will thank us with anti-American demonstrations and threats to kill us and tear down our way of life.

Oh yeah. Let’s give Bammy’s Jihad brotherhood another country and it’s WMD.

Let them slaughter each other. It feeds their never ending thirst for blood and keeps them from uniting to harass and slaughter the us.

Right.. and do we have volunteers to serve as Ambassador and die violently at an unguarded embassy in Damascus on the next 9/11 after this ballyhooed intervention brings yet another gaggle of jihadis to power?

Who would like to be Obama`s next bumps in the road?

To borrow a line from Tallyrand, Neoconservatives have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.
Helping Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood take another country will not lead to peace, democracy or liberty. Giving Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood weapons of mass destruction will no make the US, Israel, or Syria more secure. If will not lead to will not lead to peace, democracy or liberty.
Having Iranian Shia Islamists and Sunni Islamists killing each other is in our interest.

(This approach proved its effectiveness in Libya last year.)

Really? Ask our Libyan Ambassador if Obama’s approach proved effective. Oh that is right. You can’t ask him because he was slaughtered along with 3 other Americans

Yeah, let’s help another country become part of the Islamic Caliphate by arming radicals.

Not.

The only wars that the US should be involved with should have a plan for total destruction of our enemies and them a return home ASAP.obamao does not have that in him. libya and egypt are examples of him ****ing up the ME. Screw the times... they hate war if a dim does not wage it!

I just read where McCain (D/RHino) was in favor of intervention in Syria .
Given that the Benghazi attack was by rebels whom we had (probably) armed , and probably led by one of our Guantanemo inmates , who was still supposed to be still imprisoned ....

H*LL NO !!

Just one reason why we shouldn’t. we are war weary.

We are almost broke, another war will crash the country, our military is at the point where it gets more suicides than battlefield deaths, we don’t know how to come home, once the war ends, we start nation building.

There is no good reason to enter Syria.
