Mitt Romney to "Fact Check' Obama in Debate

Mitt Romney plans to turn himself into a one-man truth squad during the first presidential debate next week, casting President Barack Obama as someone who can’t be trusted to stick to the facts or keep his promises.

Top Republicans are telegraphing Romney’s hard-line strategy for his faceoff with Obama, according to Mike Allen’s Playbook in POLITICO on Thursday.

BS! Rove is wrong. Call him a liar to his face and then look right at the moderator and call them a liar. Don't do a McCain and go down without a fight. If Obama does win reelection then Romney will still have the upper hand and will be able say “told you so”.

Romney should demand that Obama immediately release the thousands of pages of Obamacare regulations that the administration is hiding until after the election. Sebelius and her minions have written them. We are entitled to see them before we vote for president, or US senate, or US house.

He will keep them covered up because he knows it will sink his reelection.

Conservatives know what a pack of jackals the media is, but many of the public that do not follow politics are NOT aware of the skew in the media - I have them in my family and when I walk through the room and overhear one of those channels spewing I erupt into vulgarities and then the fight is on. The public does NOT have an appreciation of the propaganda content being jammed down their gullet 24x7.

Does anyone remember the rousing applause and approval Newt got in the debates in South Carolina? American people want the truth and are very hungry for someone to take it to the lying media (and Obama).

Just a warning to everybody that hopes Romney crushes Obama next Wednesday...No matter what happens the MSM will try to portray it as an Obama victory. Even if Romney manges to exceed our wildest dreams and beat Obama to the point that by the end he is stuttering and blubbering wreck. They media will say Romney lost because he was too “angry” and “disrespectful”.

“I know Mr . Obama is at a disadvantage here tonight since his teleprompter is not available, but rather than call him a liar... I’d just say his facts are wrong...”

Do that a few times and the nasty mean bastard that Obama really is is start to emerge and the American public will take note...

For sure, Republicans are the stupid party. Why on Earth telegraph your strategy? Even if
it is misdirection, 0bama will then be prepared to fact-check Romney.

All this idiocy does is remind my of when Dan Quayle kept telegraphing that JFK was his age and was elected President, and Lloyd Benson kicked his arse with the “...and you’re no JFK” statement. It is one thing for a Veep candidate to lose a debate (though Ryan had better NOT lose to Bumbles Biden!), but it could be fatal for Romney.
