Court Reveals Iranian Operatives In Charge Of Obama’s Iran Policy Since 2009

September 26, 2012 By Doug Book

A ruling handed down on September 13th by the D.C. District Federal Court has finally made clear what many have known for years–that the Obama Administration’s Iran policy was initiated and advanced by a group with illicit, hidden ties to the Iranian Regime and financed by the U.S./Israel- hating George Soros.

In 2009, Barack Obama turned over virtually all responsibility and authority for foreign policy negotiations with Iran to Trita Parsi and his National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Founded by Parsi in 2003, the Washington-based NIAC is a powerful lobbying group that is “…widely considered the de facto lobby for the Iranian Regime in America.”

Like too many organizations that claim to represent the best interests of the nation of Iran and Iranian-Americans, the NIAC is tightly connected with and known to be funded at least in part by the George Soros empire. Small wonder NIAC advice on dealing with Iran was replete with claims that Israeli propaganda was responsible for the negative image imposed on otherwise peace-loving, misunderstood Iranian mullahs. Not exactly a friend of Israel is George Soros.

And how did the reputedly “non-partisan” NIAC suggest the Obama Administration proceed with negotiations? Simple. The Council “…opposes sanctions on Iran, soft-pedals any controversial events in Iran, and counsels “patience” regarding Iran’s stance towards its nuclear program.”

What better way for NIAC representatives to serve their hidden masters in Tehran than by promoting a policy of “peaceful coexistence” between the US and Iran. And to the NIAC, peaceful coexistence meant “…acceptance of [the] Iranian government, accepting Iranian hegemony in the Gulf and its place in other parts of the Middle East, removal of sanctions and pressure against Iran, abandon of assistance to the Iranian people’s resistance against the regime and etc.”

For the U.S., the consequences of this game of intrigue played by the Administration’s hand-picked, Iranian representatives are summed up in this statement by Barack Obama: “I’ve made it clear that the United States respects the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and is not interfering with Iran’s affairs.” And indeed, this is the path Barack Obama has followed. Not exactly reassuring words from a president charged with keeping the American public safe from a nuclear-bound administration of religious fanatics dedicated to our demise.

And it is thanks to an ill-advised lawsuit that proof of the NIAC’s wrongdoing has finally been placed before the American public. In 2008, Trita Parsi and his organization filed a defamation suit against perpetual critic Seid Dai. Dai had publicly accused Parsi of secretly working with the ruling Iranian Regime against the interests of the United States and the Iranian people. But when Parsi filed suit hoping to silence-through-intimidation such potentially lethal criticism, it opened the floodgates of legal discovery allowing Dai to demand internal NIAC documents and emails that eventually “… confirmed [Parsi’s] ties to the [Iranian] mullahs…”

Not only did recovered emails reveal that Parsi had held “…numerous secret meetings with top level IRI [Islamic Republic of Iran] officials,” “Court documents show the NIAC was guilty of: lying to members of Congress, fraudulent membership numbers, tax law violations and evasions, Lobbying Disclosure Act violation, the Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, foreign bank accounts, defrauding of federal funds, bribing of eye witnesses, etc…”

And so egregious were NIAC attempts to duck its legal responsibilities of discovery that Judge John Bates dismissed the Parsi defamation suit, ordered sanctions against Parsi for his failure to comply with discovery, and ordered Parsi to pay significant percentages of Dai’s costs and fees.

This is an immensely important story, not surprisingly “missed” in its entirety by the mainstream media.

But why has the Romney campaign not demanded Obama’s rationale for handing the foreign policy decisions of the United States and the security of the American people over to representatives of the Iranian government itself? Could voters be pleased upon finding the president had placed America’s safety from possible nuclear attack in the hands of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?

Did they recommend this...?

We don't support Israeli attack, US tells Iran

0bama sent a letter to Tehran assuring them that the U.S. will do nothing to help Israel. That takes that off of the table removing a big worry for Iran that might have made them think twice. Iran is good to go now with 0bama's blessing.

I just don’t understand why people are still going to vote for this guy AGAIN. We see all this happening right in front of our faces. Obama is not a friend he’s a a rat embedded in the white house to push the radical Islamist agenda. I mean it’s not hard to see, he’s pretty much pro Islam ever since he took office.

Mental illness. A lot of them want to see America on its knees. They think that will be good for the world.

Trita Parsi has been a dubious character for yrs now, as far back as I can remember, particularly since 2005, when he caught my attention.

During George W Bush years, Parsi was very active & vocal to ensure any chance of Bush administration removing the mullahs’ regime in Iran was eliminated. He was siding with Reformist wing of the Iranian Regime. He was lobbying intensely through NIAC & produced a couple of books, and was a prolific contributor on Iranian blogs & forums, along with his ‘followers’.

Since Obama administration, I wondered why he had gone rather quiet, at least outwardly. Well, Obama foreign policy regarding Iranian regime explains a great deal.

This description of Trita Parsi & NIAC is very accurate:

“The Council “…opposes sanctions on Iran, soft-pedals any controversial events in Iran, and counsels “patience” regarding Iran’s stance towards its nuclear program.”

“What better way for NIAC representatives to serve their hidden masters in Tehran than by promoting a policy of “peaceful coexistence” between the US and Iran. And to the NIAC, peaceful coexistence meant “…acceptance of [the] Iranian government, accepting Iranian hegemony in the Gulf and its place in other parts of the Middle East, removal of sanctions and pressure against Iran, abandon of assistance to the Iranian people’s resistance against the regime and etc.””

Back then I tried to do some research on Parsi on the net, but not much was available about “him”, only his academic achievements & professional resume.

What you will find about him in Wikipedia is inflated, misleading and in parts completely false. For example, in Wikipedia, it says he was born to a Zoroastrian family. That is categorically FALSE.

Trita Parsi was born to a muslim family, in Khuzestan province of Iran. Most Iranians who lived in Khuzestan province, at the time when Trita Parsi was born, were Iranians of Arab ethnicity, hence most definitely muslims. Khuzestan still has a large Iranian-Arab population.

Also, I know the Zoroastrian priest, who performed the conversion ceremony for Trita Parsi in 1997. Sadly, at that point the Zoroastrian priest was not aware of Parsi’s political inclination, nor was Parsi a political activist at that time.

Additionally, I suspect his birth-name is NOT Trita Parsi. That must be an adopted name. Since many converts choose to adopt a name more in line with their new religion.

In any case, Trita’s relentless pro-Mullah & Islamic stand has only betrayed Iranians of Zoroastrian faith, since the Mullahs’ regime, as with other religious minorities, discriminates against Zoroastrians for housing, education, employment opportunities, and much much more..

Perhaps Trita Parsi is a good example of why, for many centuries after the Islamic invasion of Iran, Zoroastrians did not allow conversion into the faith. And, why the Zoroastrian community in India still does not allow it.

Nevertheless, I should also say that his ‘new faith’ does not & can not prevent him from making choices in life. It is very unfortunate, for him, that he has chosen to lie, mislead, & support a bunch of criminals & charlatans. His actions, however, go precisely against everything that his ‘new faith’ teaches & encourages.

Btw, the reasoning behind the creation of NIAC was supposedly that it was the answer to the Jewish lobby AIPAC.

Unfortunately, this isn’t unique to the Obama administration. A strong case could be made that the U.S. invasion of Iraq was done with Iran’s best interests in mind. The relationship between the U.S. government and Ahmad Chalabi, dating back to the 1990s, is worth a lot of scrutiny.

That's a very good point. It illustrates (in both cases, BTW) that U.S. foreign policy is often driven not by the interests of the United States, but by the interests of those who spend a lot of money lobbying the U.S. government.

I believe it's starting to become clear that we're now seeing what happens when huge sums of money are spent in U.S. politics on behalf of Islamic interests around the world.

That is only the tip of the ice berg. I watched Dish Network channel 212 the last couple of evenings and have great concerns for our country. Glenn Beck (like him or not) had a very detailed series of examples similar to the Iranian operatives. Our country and it’s leaders have been infiltrated with muslims to the ength degree. Both democrates and republicans and especially the current president and his administration have the “operatives”. We all need to start asking questions of our representatives as to what they intend to do about removing those who would seek our demise.

Thanks. Timmerman wrote about this a week or so ago.
We owe a great deal of thanks to Hassan Dai for taking on NIAC. If he had allowed himself to be bullied by NIAC and just gone away, this wouldn’t have come out.

Paul Ryan has been vocal on Iran in the past, so hopefully he’ll take this up. Maybe they are waiting for the debates to spring this on Obama.

Here’s more...(linked from the above article)

Yes, the old adage: Money talks & BS walks... sometimes makes me wonder why we even vote.

But I think it is a 2 way street. The U.S. needs to stop or at least scale back its support for the Islamics in particular. W/out the U.S. support, they wouldn’t have enough $$$ to spend in the U.S.

Though that would be a major paradigm shift for the way politics work especially in the U.S.
