California voters support path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, say no to driver's licenses:

California voters oppose granting driver's licenses and in-state tuition breaks to illegal immigrants, though most voters support creating a path to citizenship, according to a Field Poll released today. The findings come as Gov. Jerry Brown is considering Assembly Bill 2189, which would allow a segment of the state's 2.5 million illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses in California. The Field Poll found that 56 percent of registered voters believe that illegal immigrants in California should not be able to get a driver's license, compared with 40 percent who said they should.

I would feel safer if illegal aliens were deported like the government is supposed to do instead of being pandered to.

I believe there ALWAYS has been a path to citizenship for aliens! So, why now should illegals be given preferential treatment?

Where is there logic in that? What will a drivers license do to make it safer?

They broke the law to get here—why would a drivers license make them start respecting and following our laws?

I support independence for California. All CA conservatives
please leave now for a swing state.

Good riddance to California. Don’t let the door knob hit you.

I wounder who these people interviewed.
Even my most liberal friends are pissed about what illegals are costing the state, I do not know one who wants them to have drivers licenses to boot or easy path to citizenship.

When you reward something, you get more of it. CA is finished.

It’s the one crossover issue. Romney needs to have the courage to hit Obama with this issue. Nobody wants to be supporting illegals.

They probably asked the 19 illegal aliens living next door to me. It makes me sick sitting on my front porch and watching their two year old and four year old running into the street with no parental supervision.

Gutierrez predicts major immigration policy changes if Obama re-elected

CHICAGO - Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez is wild with anticipation that Barack Obama will be re-elected in November, and that his second term would prove to be a game changer for America’s immigration policy, the Hill wrote late last week. Gutierrez said the sheer number of Latinos voting against Mitt Romney will force GOP leaders to support reforms for fear of alienating those voters indefinitely.

“I’m absolutely positive he’s going to [prioritize immigration reform],” Gutierrez said Friday of Obama, “because the Republicans are going to take such a beating in this election that they’re going to propose [their own plan].”

Path To Citizenship = Amnesty

Illegal Alien Amnesty is Anti-American Bigotry.
