Former NM Gov. Did a decent job as Gov on the financial side, but he’s a bit too socially liberal for me.

That's what I'm saying. Your typical Perot supporter (even if he simply is whining about the present), never understood that Perot was wrong.

You can't tell me that the Cubs will win the World Series next year, and then, when the Cubs finally win in 2027 say "I told you so."

It's Reason magazine, the libertarian publication.

Of course they're going to claim that a Libertarian - for the first time in the party's history -is gaining in a national race.

In all fairness it is not the job of the Government to protect jobs.. Maybe we shouldn’t be overtaxing and over regulating? I would like to know where in the Constitution that the Government has to protect jobs.. Show me..

88.3% of Ohioans surveyed identified Gary Johnson as “a reserve running back for the Cincinnati Bengals”...

Don't follow the logic. How can one candidate "lead" to another, but not another candidate lead to another? There are folks on this website who believe that Bush led to Obama . . . when Romney loses, will they still blame Bush? When will it end?

Yup - we have only ourselves to blame for this disaster. Population of crack pots.

Maybe...but in the absence of Perot on the ballot, how do figure the election goes? Especially the first one ('92)?

If Perot wasn't there his voters would have had to split at least 2/3 Bush to 1/3 Clinton for Bush to have won. I don't think they would have split that unevenly.

Because the Constitution allows for tariffs to be used in order to generate revenue for the Federal government, conventional wisdom [snort] allows for tariffs to be used as a jobs program.

Witness all the caterwauling over "high-paying" jobs, and how the government can "protect" them.

??? Perot was wrong ??? And we just imagine that we have no unemployment now and trade would create good middle class jobs.

When I get polled, I say I am a liberal who is voting for the CPUSA candidate. Who is the candidate for the Communist Party, USA?
Since 1988, the CPUSA has not run its own candidates for president and vice-president, preferring instead to work through the Democratic Party. Its support for Obama in 2008 and again this year has been open and outspoken.
CPUSA Says Re-electing Obama is "Absolutely Essential"

re: Gary is just an egotist proving he can finish another race.

I absolutely agree with you. I heard this guy being interviewed on the radio without initially knowing who he was or what he was running for. My first and lasting impression of him is that his ego is ginormous!!! It was clear to me that he doesn't care what happens to our country or the consequences of his participation in the election. He only cares about getting his name out there. Last I read he is still insisting he will win. So, lets add delusional to egotistical.

The only reason Democrats want drugs to be legal is so they can tax the sh!t out of it.

It is a big reason, but not the only one. They also want as much of the population as possible to be stoned and addled, so much the better to maintain their political power.

I actually gave up alcohol after Obama was elected to do my part to starve the beast. I haven't touched a drop since January 20, 2009. The old Soviet Union ensured vodka was cheaper than safe drinking water because a drunk population was easier to control. They are still reaping the legacy today. I beleive the average Russian male takes a dirt nap by his early 60's.

A vote for anyone but Romney is a vote for Obama.

Unless it's a vote for the Green Party's Jill Stein. Haven't heard much about her, though.

See what I mean? “After this, because of this.” One of the oldest logical fallacies in the book.

His wife was in the process of divorcing him right before he decided to run. I’m sure she knows something about him that we don’t, and I’ll bet it ain’t good.

“There is absolutely no way he is at 10% or better”.

...completely agreed! In my office are 2 of the most conservative guys I know. In my neighborhood are about 10-12 conservative guys. I can guarantee that none of ‘em have ever heard of Johnson. I just recently have.
