A government watchdog says Amtrak's train operators are testing positive for drugs and alcohol more and more frequently over the last six years.

It’s all part of the plan. They’ve implemented TSA and people don’t want to fly. Government takes over the airlines.
They’ll tighten down Amtrak or won’t do anything about accidents due to negligence, people won’t want to ride, government takes over the rails.
They can put down checkpoints or restrictions on the highways. People won’t drive. Government has complete control of the populace.
Good frickin luck with that. Amtrak's unions (along with most transportation unions) are the most powerful unions in America, period. You can take drugs, you can assault people, you can sexually harass passengers, and you will still be reinstated to your job. Amtrak management cannot fire union workers -- the termination has to go through an arbitration process. Amtrak would be a viable transportation method in certain areas like the Northeast if -- and only if -- its unions' power is significantly reduced and Congress stops meddling in Amtrak's business. Neither is going to happen, sadly.
If they ever tested Zippy and his Czars, they’d probably have 10 ambulances arriving at the White Hut.
