Exactly. The “the polls are rigges” is utter crap. Not all polls even use Party ID and they say the SAME thing. Also, absentee ballot requests are not indicative of who may win. There is early voting in Ohio in person and loads in OH show up on election day.

Only a fool believes that every single polls is rigged. in fact, even Rasmussen says that. He too claims it a fools errand.

But, hey. See ya after Election Day when we can pick up the pieces, get rid of the idiots and march Conservatism to 2016.

Why is Romney behind so badly? Because as Santorum said . . .”he is the worst possible candidate the GOP can send against Obama”. This poll nonsense is to ensure that GOPers show up and vote so they don’t lose the House.

Rasmussen has the race tied or one point difference, with leaners 48-48. Sounds like a close race to me.

How much is SEIU paying you to come here and post crap?
Every single time there is something about the polls here you are with your BS saying how it’s all over. Sit home and don’t vote, we don’t need your stinkin vote, or just go vote for Obama, we ALL know you want to

NO you won't. We are at the tipping point. See the chart. By 2016 things will be so far gone fiscally there will be no coming back. Romney is our last shot. If we don't turn it now there is no turning it. So WAKE UP, your sort of pathetic sour grapes just may destroy the USA. Sorry your candidate of choice did not get the GOP nomination. Get over it.

Photobucket FY 2007 Last Bush/GOP Congress. FY 2011 Last Obama/Dem Congress. Even you should be able to comprehend the different between $160 billion and $1.6 TRILLION

Oh, I believe the MSM polls are indeed rigged. They always are. If they were not this year it would be out of the ordinary.

But to say that because they are rigged Romney’s way ahead and is actually beating Obama - I have not seen anything that convinces me of that.

I heard on the radio today (and Hannity conceded this as well today) that Obama is 3% to 5% ahead of Romney. Add in voter fraud and that puts him at least 8% ahead of Romney right now.

If we run around claiming that Romney’s beating Obama when he’s not, there are ABO voters out there who do not feel the urgent need to send Romney money or even get involved going door to door or making phone calls. I mean, if all is fine and dandy, why make any changes?

If we do not realize this, we will feel no need to make any changes.

I know the polls are skewed but the difference is that the people I meet in my daily life are more consistent with these polls (unlike 2002, 2004, 2010). We all have our internal polls. Mine’s telling me I should not be impressed with Romney’s performance.

He should be 12% - 15% ahead of Obama right now.

We will indeed see come the morning of Nov. 7. But it is a salient fact that in cases where the internals of these polls are available they are selecting as their representative sample a much higher proportion of Democrats than was even the case in 2008 (their high water mark). These proportions are not done randomly. They ask the party affiliation before measuring out how many of which are to be used for the sample.

I don't think early voting and absentee ballot application numbers by party have enough of a history to necessarily draw conclusions. But when a poll is using as a base a higher percentage of Democrats than was true even back in 2008 it is definitely skewed.

Somebody brought up a reason for their doing this which I had not thought of before. Obama's campaign, according to many reports, has been far behind in the cash take they expected and as a result they have been running into the red just as the most critical part of the campaign is beginning. So making sure Obama would appear to be winning could have the effect of increasing their take from "let's bet on the winner" contributors while putting a damper on Romney's funding. Makes sense.

You can tell a lie by the way it’s dressed up.

If Romney’s behind, just make the claim and end it there.

If you really believe what you’re saying, you won’t have to provide extra reasons, like “Romney’s a bad candidate” or “Romney messed up with the 47% comment” or the old “experts like Rasmussen say...”

This poll nonsense is to ensure that GOPers show up and vote so they don’t lose the House.

So you think that the GOP figures that lots of folks will show up and vote for the Republican House candidate and then vote for Obama?
