Now the absentee ballot request information:
2008: 18037 total requests (7403 dems, 3803 repubs) 2012: 6166 requests thus far (831 dems, 1780 repubs)
Thank you Guardian for reminding me about this district.
Poll ping.
Could you please add me to your Poll ping list? Thanks!
Added.
Good info. Thanks for the ping
Thanks for the link :)
good news for Romney?
Remember how, based on the polls, Diebold "stole" Ohio from Kerry and gave it to Bush in 2004? Remember 'rat strategist Bob Shrum's famous "Can I be the first to call you Mr. President?" call to President John Kerry, based on the exit polling?
Another key swing county whose R ballot requests are dwarfing D requests.
One other factor to consider. Maybe the R’s are anticipating trouble at the polling places, as the NBP Philly experience, and want to shortcut their chance of having to deal with it at the precincts.
I know that here in Florida, they are pushing absentee and early voting (ours is only the 2 weeks before) because there are a lot of amendments with long explanations on the ballot as well. I know that the Duval County ballot is two pages front and back.
I will vote early because I am a Poll Worker. I was a Poll Watcher for the last three generals and figured I would have far more access to see any shenanigans from the inside rather than an outside observer with several restrictions.
Any voter planning to vote absentee needs to read the instructions VERY CAREFULLY several times to make absolutely sure they are doing everything absolutely correctly and completely. They need to be very careful that their signature is not sloppy, illegible or different in any way from their “normal” signature on file with their elections board. They need to make sure there are no stray marks or “changed” votes on their ballot. They need to vote for all the offices (or at least all the partisan offices)—corrupt officials have been known to manage to add in a “vote” for any office not voted on the ballot. Make absolutely sure that your ballot is sealed properly and returned to the correct address.
If the outside return mailing address indicates political party (some do) it might be best if you drive and physically return your ballot. Some absentee ballots have been known to get “lost in the mail” in the past.
You want to make absolutely sure your vote gets correctly counted and not disqualified for any of the Democrats’ bogus reasons.
A plain English explanation of the amendments:

Thank you. I have been reading the amendments and all the opinions I can find so I can inform others.
At a recent Republican mtg here (VA) we were told that in 2008, McLame won on election day...Obozo beat him out with the absentee votes...
If they can do it....
