Todd Akin is coming out with a new ad, aggressively going after Sen. Claire McCaskill for getting rich from the president's 2009 stimulus plan. The ad, shared early with POLITICO, comes amid a flurry of new activity as Republicans decide whether to support Akin now that there's no question that he'll stay in the Missouri Senate race.
"Ever wonder why Claire McCaskill called the stimulus bill 'wildly successful'? The stimulus that didn't create jobs, that cost us billions. Well, now we know: The stimulus made McCaskill rich," the ad starts, adding that the stimulus sent more than $1 million to McCaskill's family through partnerships they owned.
The ad ends piggy backing off a 2009 quote McCaskill gave NBC's "Meet The Press", saying she and other Senators went through the Stimulus bill "line by line". "Claire McCaskill: Getting rich off us, line by line," the ad says...

The article that showed the ad did their best to salvage McCaskill.
Good ad. The ironic thing is Akin has a better chance at winning than Romney does at this point - if you look at oddsmaker webstes.
Amazing what a few bucks in the Campaign Fund can do.

Reality check: The Liberal Pro-Abort PhonyCons were the ones trying to keep akin in the race up to the deadline. democrat trolls.
Those wanting akin to drop out were the intelligent ones wanting to win the seat for a Republican.
For those who don’t know about Claire McCaskill — a little about the 15th richest Senator in Washington:

Roger that! For that matter, a great many naysayers here on FR have zero claim on him for that matter. Some of the worst slander against the man was posted right here on Free Republic. If it wasn’t for the fact that many were long time posters here, I would have thought them trolls....but they were not. I know Jim Robinson is socially conservative, but it made me realize that many diehards here are only “fiscally” conservative. Which I think, standing by itself, is a dangerous way to be. A “fiscal” conservative only is not a real conservative in my world view.
