"This is only the latest escalation in what looks to be almost a "cold war" between the government and the people"

Excellent way of putting it. A 'cold war' indeed.

God help us all if it goes hot, and if it does, you can be assured it will be the FedGov who starts it. That's not the way it will be reported to the sheeple, however -- not from the 'Special Agents in Charge' and certainly not from their ever-reliable lapdog press.

Edmund Burke had some interesting thoughts on this whole subject. The only thing new here is that it's taking place in America.

And what will the rest of the world do? Sit idly by? I think not. If the U.S. is removed from the global scene as a stabilizing influence, the variables become too many to calculate. I predict one thing in common -- they will all drive negative.

I disagree. The war has already gone hot, with things like Ruby Ridge, Waco, and recently with Fast and Furious. The People so far have shown great restraint, although how much longer that restraint will last is anybody’s guess.

It’s the “Cold Civil War.”

God help us all if it goes hot. A “dirty civil war” is the worst outcome imaginable.
