scotty rasmussen is not for anyone but scotty rasmussen and he was shaken by the other polls and is adjusting his polling to more come in line with that of the dnc. obama may win but none of the polls have it correct. There is just too much hocus pokus in them.

“Sadly, that maybe the reason for it... Not much hope when media is so corrupt.”

ESPN’s college football pregame show is at Michigan State today. When they went around the table introducing the commentators, they came to former University of Michigan player Desmond Howard. He was roundly booed by the MSU fans. He then said something to the effect of: “I feel like Romney at a 47% rally!” Hey Desmond Howard and ESPN FU!!! How about making a crack about your butt-boy Obama?? I am so sick of this bullshit! You can’t even watch college football without this bias being evident. If Obama wins this election there needs to be some consequences for these biased a-holes who are openly covering and campaigning for him in the media! Once again let me say a big FU to that black racist Desmond Howard and ESPN! This bullshit needs to end!

I think all the stupid talk, even by GOP idiots, about the “inevitability” of Obama’s win, or how “badly” Romney is doing in polls becomes self-fulfilling at some point.

Yep. I had two conversations with well-informed GOP voters yesterday and both were saying 'not looking good for Mitt'. The psychops works. Either Romney comes out with a real strong push and good debate performance this week, or it may become inevitable over the next couple weeks. Right now, it seems like Romney's campaign is just rolling over. I still can't imagine this is their whole game plan, but the clock is ticking.

They should bring Palin. Atleast Romney will get press coverage.

He has a huge field office presence in Fl .
It’s everywhere .

Obama and his superpacs have always had more money .
The media spin was the Romney money but the union
Superpacs have big dollars.
The cable attacks are superpacs funds .

Actually the cell phone population is reportedly heavy democratic. Use of large cell phone calls is the reason the other pollsters are getting skewed democrat results.

Yep, I keep wondering the same thing. What the heck is Romney actually spending the money on?

because it’s not ads.

And before anyone says.... but you live in Texas! so why would you expect to see ads.

Well.. there is this little thing called the internet that I spend about 10+ hours a day on. And I have yet to see a SINGLE Romney ad online.

Agreed. But what’s the solution? I’m stumped.

To be fair, other than not being Obama, what has Romney done to energize us? I’m hoping the debates change the dynamics but with media being so corrupt (and the willingness of the beltway GOPers to play along) I’m not holding my breath that anything ‘positive’ comes from Wednesday night.

Rasmussen repolls at the end of each month to see where party affiliation stands. Last month he measured the largest lead for Republicans ever, which might help explain why his numbers have been so different this whole month than everyone elses. But if he is already starting the next party affiliation poll that he will use through October, then it might already be starting to show in the results of the daily.

The spinning of the 47% remark has not really been answered by Romney and I believe caused a few points of drift towards the Serial Liar-In-Chief. At the first debate, Romney will get the opportunity to speak unfiltered to the voters regarding that comment and gain back a few of those points. It will happen.

I think we are in good shape being tied with a much stronger turnout in the works.

I was told the exact opposite by GOP insider who is relative .
He said the GOP ground game is better than the Dems thanks to
Voter laws and Careful monitoring of outside groups trying to illegally register folks .
The Dems don’t have the Acorn voters on the rolls anymore in key states .
He said its close but was expected

He had a huge war chest... where did it go? I mean nothing about Romney seems to make any sense and whatever he is doing right now... it isn't enough.

I haven’t watched Oreilly in quite awhile, mostly because of his refusal to hammer Obama. He is now treating Obama like be deserves to be treated?

“As far as we know, Raz is using a D+2 Party ID weighting and a R+4 lead for Romney with independents. Without doing the math and assuming that the Dem voters vote D in the same proportion as GOP voters vote R, one would expect the average Obama lead in his polls to be between 1 and 2 percent.”

You can’t pinpoint the Rasmussen weighting like that — what has been revealed by Rasmussen in this past June’s weighting was that Rasmussen had Dems+3 to Dems+14 range over the monthn of June (not any days with a Repub higher weighting) with the weighting changing daily over the 30 day period. Can’t tell you how Rasmussen decides this, but there it is....
