Univision: The untold story of what 'Fast and Furious' wrought in Mexico
The Christian Science Monitor ^ | Sept. 29, 2012 | Patrik Jonsson

Posted on 09/29/2012 10:22:09 AM PDT by BillyBonebrake

At 7 p.m. on Sunday, Univision says it’ll air a blockbuster investigation detailing the impact of the deeply flawed gunrunning investigation, which operated between Oct. 2009 and January 2011.

The Spanish-language channel says the “Aqui y Ahora” program will expose the true deadly toll of a covert program where US officials allowed over 2,000 high-powered rifles to “walk” into the hands of violent Mexican cartels. Expecting American interest, Univision will caption the program in English.

Holder and Obama treat innocent Mexicans like disposable pawns. Team Romney better be tuning in and taking notes.

Don’t worry Univision will manage to blame our gun laws, law abiding gun owners, and probably the gun store owners that were questioning this program, instead of Obama, Holder, the ATF, and the Mexican drug cartels.

It would be nice if Team Romney had documents on F&F that the 0bumugabe team thought had been destroyed.

I realize that the nation doesn’t want to go through another impeachment trial and liberals would consider it sour grapes if it were to happen if Obama is re-elected but between Fast And Furious and the coverup of the foreknowledge of the terrorist attacks on our embassies, the guy in the White House is toast and needs to be held accountable.

It's CSM employees doing the "reporting" and that means.. IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!

. . . building on a smaller Bush-era program. . . .

... which is exactly why I left some slightly more pointed comments at the bottom of the CSM article.

How utterly instructive that the most meaningful US TV news is now done by MEXICANS.

Holder should be extradited to Mexico on these charges:
1. Accessory to murder (+200 counts).
2. International arms trafficking (+2000 counts).
3.Conspiracy to break said laws, and half a dozen others.
4. Committed an act of war against a sovereign nation.

After he is tried, convicted, sentenced and hung for treason at Leavenworth.

Did you read the article? Univision reporter asked Obama point blank why he hasn’t fired Holder over F&F.

RE: I left some slightly more pointed comments at the bottom of the CSM article.

Thank you for that!

Tom Wolfe's book Radical Chic & Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers described people like the CSM employees.. and the establishment MSM back then gushed that these Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats were the most intelligent generation ever!.

The flak catchers were people assigned to meet with the demonstrators and take their abuse.

The demonstrators and their ideological issue today are mau-mauing flak chuckers of the establishment MSM; and we all are now the flak catchers as the MSM employees protect their ideological heroes.

I dunno. They gave the Usurper a pretty rough time when they interviewed him. He hasn't done anything more for hispanics than he has for blacks, and they don't have the racial loyalty the blacks have. Maybe they will display some loyalty to their homies in Mexico being killed by the gangsters from Chicago for no good reason.

>"He hasn't done anything more for hispanics than he has for blacks,"

He's basically armed the evil hispanic version of the KKK, and there are now 300+ and growing daily dead Mexican citizens .

Does he still let the brothers use metal forks and knives when dining in his presence?

He doesn't let latinos!

Ya don't reckon all those dead Mexicans had any relatives do ya?

Univision also asked Obama directly where all the jobs were. Nobody is more surprised than me, but things have gotten tight for “newer” Hispanics very quickly after they were riding high.

As somebody mentioned on a thread here weeks ago (I believe they were quoting somebody): When was the last time you saw a Hispanic panhandler?

I live in NJ (which is inundated with Hispanics, legal and illegal), and the answer is 0. There is something cultural about a man (and now often the woman as well) providing for their families, earning a wage, etc. that has been wrecked by this economy. Obama will be working for their votes this time; he already proved to them a non-white can win the office, now he has to show he can do the job.

“He hasn’t done anything more for hispanics than he has for blacks, and they don’t have the racial loyalty the blacks have.”

I work with a lot of Hispanics, and they have the same mixture of fear (in black neighborhoods) and scorn that many whites have for urban blacks. They look at the opportunities that they squander (I don’t know if whites realize just how much is spent on blacks for schools, jobs, etc. - not the public assistance crap), and think about how they would have better availed themselves of so much.

Because Hispanics come from such a variety of countries/cultures, efforts by the Dems to create a Hispanic bloc will come to naught. While Cubans were always touted as the exception, the fact is that many people from Latin America are more socially conservative than whites, and many are here to work (legally) - with everything that entails (taxes in particular).

You make an excellent point. The work ethic we see in Central Americans wasn’t polluted by LBJ’s ‘Great Society’, when our own work ethic became delegitimized in favor of government dependency.

Thnaks. I think the ones that go through the process of getting here (again, legally or illegally) see no point in arriving just to live in the same squalor (or worse) in public housing. They’re better off making a better life for themselves and their family than simply being preyed upon by our permanent underclass.
