With just one month left before Venezuelans go to the ballot box, a survey of recent opinion polls shows significant leads for Hugo Chávez in the race to be Venezuelas next president.
The average of all 13 polls carried out in August and in the first week of September, saw Hugo Chávez on 51% and Henrique Capriles on 35% giving Chávez an average lead of 16% (See table 1).
Such a lead would translate into an advantage of more than two million votes for Hugo Chávez on October 7th.

Note the date when this article was published. Only 12 days ago yet the electoral situation has changed DRAMATICALLY in Venezuela. (Actually I don't think it really changed, it's just that the polls are now forced to become more realistic.) Sound familiar? Watch what happens next Sunday, October 7, when the election takes place.
Just something to keep in mind when considering the polls here in the USA.

That depends on where the polls are more corrupt, here or in Venezuela.

Up until a couple of weeks ago the polls showed Chavez with a HUGE lead. Now the big news is that Chavez's campaign is
FLOUNDERING.

We need to see how they weigh their poll samples. I suspect Venezuelan pollsters have higher weights for pro-Chavez voters, and much Much MUCH lower weights for anti-Chavez voters. This goes a long way to explain these results.

The laughable thing is that the DUmmies are
HAPPY about the "huge lead" Chavez has in the polls.

THIS IS A CHAVISTA WEBSITE!!!!!!! A COMMUNIST FRONT-GROUP SENDING OUT PROPAGANDA ABOUT CHAVEZ, LIKE THE MSM HERE IN THE UNITED STATES ABOUT OBAMA!
All you have to do is just take a look at the "Solidarity Groups" link on their website.
You want REAL "news" on Venezuela....look HERE

I didn’t know they had ACORN down there too.

I think you are the only person who gets away with linking to DU on this site. Of course nobody else likes to cross muddy river on a rickety rowboat to Principal Skinners Island Gulag.

There's no difference between the two groups...
To: PJ-Comix
With the Food Stamp President in charge here and Chavez in Venezuela, it’s kind of hard to really see the difference.
