57 Previously Undiscovered Fast and Furious Guns Used in Mexican Crimes (Univision)
ABC News Univision ^ | Sunday, September 30, 2012 | Gerardo Reyes and Santiago Wills

Posted on 09/30/2012 6:03:12 PM PDT by kristinn

Fifty seven previously unidentified firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious were recovered in sites associated with murders, kidnappings, and at least two gruesome massacres.

Univision News obtained the list of Fast and Furious weapons and a list containing almost 60,000 recovered firearms compiled by Mexico's Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA). A cross-reference of the serial numbers of the guns resulted in 96 full matches (several partial matches were discarded). The 96 firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious all turned up at crime scenes in Mexico from 2009 to 2010.

In a report published on July 26, Congress mentioned there were "at least 48 recoveries involving 122 weapons [in Mexico] connected to Operation Fast and Furious." To check whether those were the same guns pinpointed by the data cross-reference, Univision News contacted congressional investigators asking for the serial numbers of the 122 guns in Congress' report. After an initial request by Univision News in mid-September and despite numerous phone calls and emails, there was no further response.

Univision News then gathered all the serial numbers available in the evidence appendixes of the major congressional investigation released by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Iowa Senator Charles Grassley last July.

I quote ABC:

ABC flak chuckers emphasize how the Obama Administration was mistreated by Republicans playing politics.

In Washington, the Fast and Furious scandal became politicized, diverting the attention from the human cost in Mexico to political battles on Capitol Hill. In June, a vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt ignored the real tragedy in Mexico . . . on September 25, Congressman Darrell Issa and Senator Charles Grassley, the politicians behind the Fast and Furious congressional report released in July . . . .

I strongly suspect the Mexican and American governments planned to blame the gun running crimes on American gun dealers and go for ending the second amendment. An ATF informant called them out when Terry got killed.

Remember when Obama first came in and made a fake claim that Americans arm drug lords which was exposed as a lie quickly by second amendment activists? F&F gun crimes was to be the “evidence.”

Sara: That would make sense - if Mexico had been told of Fast and Furious. The problem with that idea is that Mexico was not told and therefore could not consent (or, for that matter, track the weapons). They are very, very, very angry about that.

As well they should be. This is like Iran selling guns they know would be used by Hezbollah operatives in the US - and having those guns be documented as killing AT LEAST 300 US citizens.

This makes the death of one ambassador in Egypt seem pale by comparison. And all for Obama’s political agenda.

What Hispanics need to realize is that Obama leaves the door wide open for them - and for the terrorists who are right behind them, chasing them - not because he cares about them, but because they are pawns to him and his political agenda. That’s the same reason he gives guns to the drug cartels that are killing their women and children and hanging the corpses from bridges. It’s all for his agenda - which is the ONLY thing he cares about.

The corpses hanging from bridges, the beheaded bodies that show up in shallow graves, the rape trees all over Arizona, the no-go area in AZ that’s already been ceded to the drug cartesl - these ALL need to have signs on them saying “Funded by the Obama Administration”.

And if the Hispanics are anything but pushover wusses, they sure as HECK better be angry about it.

Only reported on ABC News website. After my last comment I decided to see if this would be news. CBS, NBC, FOX News, Reuters, AP News, etc... Nothing. It will disappear off of the pages of ABC tomorrow. The silence is deafening.

Agree, just like the movie trailer was supposed to end our first amendments but also took a wrong turn. God is good.

ABC and Univision have a deal for a joint channel so ABC is helping promote this.

Exactly, our FERAL Government under the Obama Administration will just let another 10 million invaders cross over the Rio Grande and grant them citizenship.

Then these new fine upstanding AmeriKans, will remit back to Meehico billions of dollars to keep the Meehican economy afloat.

Hell, the deal is already being struck.
