57 Previously Undiscovered Fast and Furious Guns Used in Mexican Crimes (Univision)
ABC News Univision ^ | Sunday, September 30, 2012 | Gerardo Reyes and Santiago Wills

Fifty seven previously unidentified firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious were recovered in sites associated with murders, kidnappings, and at least two gruesome massacres.

Univision News obtained the list of Fast and Furious weapons and a list containing almost 60,000 recovered firearms compiled by Mexico's Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA). A cross-reference of the serial numbers of the guns resulted in 96 full matches (several partial matches were discarded). The 96 firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious all turned up at crime scenes in Mexico from 2009 to 2010.

In a report published on July 26, Congress mentioned there were "at least 48 recoveries involving 122 weapons [in Mexico] connected to Operation Fast and Furious." To check whether those were the same guns pinpointed by the data cross-reference, Univision News contacted congressional investigators asking for the serial numbers of the 122 guns in Congress' report. After an initial request by Univision News in mid-September and despite numerous phone calls and emails, there was no further response.

Univision News then gathered all the serial numbers available in the evidence appendixes of the major congressional investigation released by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Iowa Senator Charles Grassley last July.

I think that muted outrage is a political act the Mexican government in the aftermath of the deal falling apart. I think they knew the plan and when it fell apart, got “outraged” for political cover, but not outraged enough to issue UN and National diplomatic protests and legal and gringo race bait threats like they do when an illegal is shot by a border patrol agent or when Arizona decides to stop the invasion.

I have yet to hear Mexico demand scalps, denounce Obama as a murderer like they normally would, and their activists and reporters are way too quiet about this American gun crime. They knew. If Obama, Jan the Man, and Holder goes down, they go down, too. That is the way government thugs work. So they flap their wings a little for the camera when they have to and make sure no one in power gives Republicans any legal or diplomatic traction.

ATF has already admitted on record that they did not inform any Mexican authorities and didn’t even tell any ATF agents stationed in Mexico. If 0bama told Calderon what was going on Calderon kept it to himself.

The great thing about this is whose fault this isn’t.

Did you catch the name of the Navy member that was executed in that bar in Juarez, Mexico towards the end of the video? Seems he and 6 others in that bar were targeted for execution.

BTW: I saved a copy of the Univision video to my HD so when it disappears off the net I can put it back up on YouTube. If you want a copy let me know.

If 0bama or Calderon want to come out and admit they collaborated on this then fine. As of now Issa and Grassley have sworn testimony in House and Senate records that Mexico was not apprised of the F&F operation.

As for Mexico calling for scalps, there have been plenty of articles of Mexican officials calling for investigations and castigating the U.S.

Correction:

at 2:30 in the video, we learn that 24 year old David Booher, an Air Force medic was executed on November 4th, 2009 in Bar Amadeus in Juarez, Mexico using one of the guns that Eric Holder ordered to be allowed to cross the US/Mexico border, as part of Fast & Furious.

Eric Holder is guilty of MURDER.

I sure hope Congressman Issa saw this video tonight and starts issuing Subpoena's again. Eric Holder has alot of explaining to do - ON HIS WAY TO FEDERAL PRISON for the MURDER of an American Serviceman.

Interestingly, the Fast and Furious weapons in Mexico's possession seemed to have been used in crimes in 2009 and 2010 and there is no mention of the use of any F&F guns being used in crimes after 2010.

Prior to 2009, Mexico was already experiencing gang driven violence at a comparatively low level and most of the violence was between the cartels and directed at drug runners.

Starting in 2009 that changed.During that same 2009 to 2010 time period when the Obama Administration was pumping thousands of across the border with F&F, the gang violence in Mexico exploded with gruesome and senseless killings. Unlike prior to 2009, much of the new hyper violence was random and directed at innocent bystanders, tourists, and government officials who were not gang members.

The media in the US was reporting these killings in sensationalistic way and climbing that guns crossing the border from US to Mexico were responsible.

At the same time, Janet Napolitano’s DHS was preparing reports that guns bought in American gun stores were crossing the border fueling the violence in Mexico ( we later find that Dennis K. Burke, Napolitano’s Ex Chief of Staff when she was AZ Gov and also one the closest and oldest of Napolitano’s circle of insiders was the guy sending them across the border) and began drafting regulations to restrict gun sales in border states.

At the same time Dianne Fienstein was putting together a coordinated effort to use the violence in Mexico as justification for new gun ban legislation.

At the end of 2010, the Republicans won control of the House and F&F began to unravel in the wake of Agent Terry's murder using F&F weapons after Jan 2011 when the Republicans took over the House and began investigations that the Democrats could no long cover up. The Democrat Senate continued to try too block a parallel Senate investigation.

A major member of the Sinoloa Drug Cartel was arrested and testified that the Obama Administration had taken sides with them to eliminate their rival cartels in the drug war and the Administration was allowing the Sinaloa Cartel freedom to operate and smuggle drugs across the border and in the US.

Soon after the Republican’s took control of the House and started their investigation in 2011 and began publicizing F&F and going after the people in the US government who were running F&F the violence epidemic in Mexico rapidly decreased from it's 2009-2010 fever pitch, down to levels that were actually lower than before 2009. There was no event or reason in Mexico that could explain the abrupt decrease in gang driven violence in Mexico, just as there was no obvious reason for the abrupt false up of violence in 2009. The only event that seemed to coincide with the abrupt drop in violence in Mexico was the Republican Oversight Control in the House and Issa's freedom to begin investigations in the United States of the Obama Administrations involvement and conduct trafficking guns into Mexico with F&F

Now we find evidence to suggest that use of F&F weapons may have slowed way down or stopped turning up in Mexican crimes and murders after the end of 2010 when Agent Terry was murdered and Issa began his congressional F&F investigation. There are literally thousands of F&F guns still floating around Mexico unaccounted for. The rate of guns crossing into Mexico under F&F was actually relatively low in 2009 and the big ramp up in F&F weapons transfer actually began towards the end of 2010 with a huge increase in volume planned for 2011 until Agent Terry's murder brought the plan to a halt in December 2010. Despite the fact that most of the F&F weapons crossed into Mexico in mid to late 2010, according to Mexican officials, most of the weapons recovered at crime scenes and murders in Mexico seem to be from the 2009 and 2010 time period when only a small fraction of the waked weapons were in Mexico, and there seem to be not so many used after 2010, when the actual majority of the walked F&F weapons began filtering down into Mexico

A lot of very strange series of coincidences at play it seems

As of April 16, 2009 there is proof they did. And the press conference announcement is on you tube.

We all looked at the press conference over a year ago here and it doesn’t prove anything. There is no mention of F&F and no mention of the strategies used.

Go ya one further.....?somebody in the administration was shooting for a piece of the narco biz.....which is the reason for the bump in violence......and a Republican Congress terminated their efforts.

“Hispanics” are not a one race group like the liberals protray. Hispanics are different races (red, black, white) from very different nations south of the US border. Columbians don’t care about Mexicans.

For example, White Mexicans don’t hate whitey; they do business with and share middle class life with La Raza’s gringos. La raza is a racist group of Mexicans fighting old wars lost by Mexico and the Spanish invasion - like the Klan still angry over losing the civil war or American indians still mad the White Europeans settled here. They don’t have a lot of people involved in that.

Liberals are trying to create a “race” united by gringo resentment and hate with a united false “hispanic” history among stupid American offspring who don’t know their own Nation of origins and personal histories. They want a political bloc and they pretend it is a separate, brown colored socialist “race” allied with the socialist American black tribe against whitey.

So...I don’t expect real Americans from Mexico are going to give a hoot about this unless liberals blow the race hate dog whistle for the young brainwashed ones. Liberals are not going to do that with Obammy. People from Columbia won’t care; the US has done worse to Columbia and Mexicans did not care. The “hispanic” race is all liberal manipulation of young people’s perceptions and ignorance.

Yup, but it wasn’t Fast And Furious that Calderon was briefed in on. They were told that the US would be instigating a new program and would be cracking down on US citizens. That was the last the Mexicans heard until they discovered the F&F guns.
