CARACAS, Sept 30 (Reuters) - With both presidents facing tight re-election fights, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez gave a surprise endorsement to Barack Obama on Sunday - and said the U.S. leader no doubt felt the same.
"I hope this doesn't harm Obama, but if I was from the United States, I'd vote for Obama," the socialist Chavez said of a man he first reached out to in 2009 but to whom he has since generally been insulting.
Chavez is running for a new six-year term against opposition challenger Henrique Capriles, while Obama seeks re-election in November against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Venezuela's election is next weekend
Obama is a good guy ... I think that if Obama was from Barlovento or some Caracas neighborhood, he'd vote for Chavez," the president told state TV, referring to a poor coastal town known for the African roots of its population.

Stalin also sent Obama a love letter from hell promising to vote for him if they would move his carcass to a Chicago cemetery.
Anyone else feel like vomiting? What’s happened to the country we all knew and loved?
I’m sure there are some states where Chavez would have no trouble voting for Obama. It may be more difficult for Obama to vote for Chavez, however.
Oh, no! No, not at all! Please, please continue with your endorsements. Tell us what you like that obama has done. What would you like him to do? What would you do if you were prez of the US? What would you like obama to do for you and your country?
Please share your wisdom, your ideas, your dreams for us!! We want to learn from you. Speak, oh, speak wondrous leader. We await your words! Spread them to all our news people! Thank you for sharing!
Oh yes, lovely friendship... lol
We may as well give up. What with bHusseinO being endorsed by kgb-Putin, murderousThug-Chavez, and (especially) that world authority about good government Madonna (who’s promised to strip naked if we re-elect Mr. Occupancy — who can possibly refuse a wonderful offer like that!?)-— Romney hasn’t got a chance. I heard this directly from him on my free Obamaphone while waiting for my free foodstamps at the disability entitlements office.
Birds of a feather.
Obama is gonna hope this endorsement fades away and is never mentioned by ANYONE. But of course the same people who voted and will vote for Obama, would also vote for Chavez in Venezuela, so it’s a wash. Classic “no harm/no foul” stuff,
as our current gang of Demoncrats sees it.
lol!

We are creating a new world, a balanced world. A new world order, a multipolar world, Chavez told reporters during a visit to Communist China, one of many. His new world order includes [RUSSIA], China, Iran,... and a significantly weakened United States, he explained.

Chavez Vows To 'Stand By Iran'
After Oil Talks In Tehran, Venezuelan Leader Called 'Brother' By Ahmedinejad
"Chavez pledged that his country would 'stay by Iran at any time and under any condition,' state television reported. Ahmadinejad said he saw in Chavez a kindred spirit." "'We do not have any limitation in cooperation,' Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying. 'Iran and Venezuela are next to each other and supporters of each other. Chavez is a source of a progressive and revolutionary current in South America and his stance in restricting imperialism is tangible.'":

He just wants a Obama-Phone.
That would be a great re-election ad for Obama and then have images of gas prices rising connected to Chavez. That d-bag started the course to where our gas prices were just under a dollar to almost four dollars a gallon !
If the Romney team does not take advantage of this, then I give up. Maybe I won’t go to the polls in November!! It’s like handing Romney a present wrapped up with a bow. If he doesn’t take advantage of this, then he doesn’t deserve to win.
