Thank you for the update - it is good news!!

This article is actually more of a press release from the county’s Economic Development Corporation. Their biased view is that the county does indeed want this investment.

"Their biased view is that the county does indeed want this investment."

Oh, the county and the state want it. The BLM has authorized the land sale and Dingy Hairy and local poobahs had a ground breaking ceremony months ago.

However, the deal is far from consumated. IMHO, nothing comes of it.

Now, this groundbreaking took place exactly one day before Solyndra declared bankruptcy. Solyndra was supposed to manufacture the same stuff the ChiComs are proposing.

At the time, the Reds were counting on getting some Obama Bucks. That doesn't look so good now, eh?

The plant is also seen as a ChiCom propaganda effort more than a real deal. "Ah so. China has 33% tariff on solar panels, so we will manufacture in the land of opportunity, America. Comrades Obama and Reed approve."

Boulder City, Nevada bought 200,000 acres from the BLM with the help of Dingy Harry and our other congressmen. The land is pre-approved by EPA for energy generation. The city has three leases of a million bucks+. We get several offers each year by fly by night scammers who only want a forum in front of the city council so they can boost their penny stocks. Others insist they need the lease in order to secure financing. We demand money up front.
