“The W.T.O. ordered both sides to end the subsidies.”

The UN and any related organization needs to go away.

Any country dumb enough to elect Obama and dumb enough to have a neck and neck race for his re-election, is a country dumb enough to put up with anything - and now the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS!

This is just tit-for-tat for the WTO finding against Airbus. And why are we subsidizing Boeing?

Seriously, Europe is going to lecture someone on subsidies. Just about all European Primary Production is subsidized and entry to their markets restricted. Austalia can do everything cheaper and better but are cut out of their markets - I am sure the same goes for the US. We also make better wine than the French. I am not saying that Aus does not still retain some special trading partners or subsidies but most of them are to keep our producers competitive against dumping or other subsidized nations - a subsidy free enviroment would be best for all especially the consumer.
