Suspected Submersible Reported near Kyong-po Beach
Early morning on Oct. 2, the authorities received a report that what appears to be a submersible was spotted near Kyong-po Beach, Gangneung, Kangwon Province. Navy and Coast Guard are now checking into it, according to CBS (of S. Korea.)
The news article says that around 6:40 am, a tourist saw a suspected submersible 500m from Kyong-po Beach and reported it.

FYI, a submersible is a pod with its own engine, most of it is underwater except its top side. Smaller than minisub. It is not a full-fledged submarine because it cannot go completely underwater.

This is an interesting development, possibly dropping off or picking up spies?

LOL. She has English name: Leslie Kim.
She was a Korean American(her family emigrated to U.S.) but launched her career in S. Korea. I heard she became SK citizen again, though I am not sure. So she is still Leslie Kim whenever she stays in U.S.

She actually abandoned the show during production in protest of being worked like a dog. They make about 2 episodes a week! Anyway some of those actors wait years for a good part and were very upset at her.
They did finish after missing an episode and it was still good, I actually liked the ending.

This is an interesting development, possibly dropping off or picking up spies? It could also be used for abductions. Over the years, many Japanese and South Koreans have disappeared from beaches in their countries and wound up in North Korea.

I know. She was beset with problems. Her agency pushed her from one commercial shoot to another. Didn't have much time to prepare. Then script writers were horrible, which made her work impossible and she had shouting match with drama's director. She had to carry 50% of show and scripts were shoved down to her throat in the last minute.
The common way of protest in such a situation is to check into a hospital, complaining of exhaustion. Then the deal is struck, and an actress can come back to the set. She was not wily enough. There are many low lives in entertainment industry. Some are outright thugs.

Yep. I have read stories that made me so mad.
One actress who committed suicide said she was pimped out to rich guys by her agent. That is totally infuriating.
