The mainstream media is in the tank for Obama. Every student journalism can recognize that. It’s too late for most already involved “professionally.” Most of them have already violated most of the ethical rules and sold their souls to Obama long ago.
As a journalism graduate from the University of Oregon, I am personally ashamed.

Well, it’s not like this is the first time the media has violated their so-called code of journalistic honor. They’ve been in the tank for Dems since I was a kid fifty years ago and more. Once again, it’s not the lies the media tells, it’s the truth they hide.
This of course would mean that you are not really a "journalist" in the modern sense, as they clearly have absolutely no shame whatsoever.
I simply do not patronize them. I laugh at them, and mock them openly when I encounter them in public.
What I am at a loss to explain, is how the drive-by media benefits from the advance of the socialist cause.
Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable? This was originally humor, not a mission statement.
Yet this is exactly what the media views as their jobs. They simply show their bias by what is news. The standard tactic of if a Republican is accused of malfeasance, party ID is in the first few words, yet when it is a democRAT accused of the same malfeasance the party ID is in the last paragraph if mentioned at all.
So what’s in it for the drive-by’s. The ones in DC might get a cushy gov’t gig, but the ones in East Podunk? What do they get out of it ? Or is it a conditioned Pavlovian response to the stimulus of the downtrodden versus the well off.
That's a fact, the New York Slimes had more than one reporter inside Rat lauded Soviet Russia and squelched reports of work camp, gulag, and collective farm genocides completely under Stalin.
Then the Communist infiltrated Rats crucified Joe McCarthy with MSM help. Unfortunately, McCarthy was not a competent advocate of anti communism, and made many mistakes in his endeavor.

The MSM is more than biased, it is a corrupt propaganda machine. In a very real sense it has become a threat to our democracy.
This is fully explained by Lenin's classification of those that help advance socialism (which always progresses to it's end stage of full blown Communism).

Yep. I came to that conclusion myself - they only have the power you grant them. Unfortunately a lot of people are far more trusting than they should be, and tend to grant them a power they possess merely by being celebrities.
What do they get out of it?
That's a far sadder thing. What they get out of it is membership in good standing of the ruling class. They get access. They get awards. They get the awe and adulation of the ignorant. In the Soviet Union they were the nomenklatura, the people who dictated what people thought by shaping what they said. It is the tripartate corruption of vanity, power and wealth. That's what they get, and it's worth it.
What happens when it all falls apart, though? Occasionally the senior members of the ruling class who don't run fast enough - Mussolini, Ceausescu, Louis XVI - occasionally they end up strung up in public, but generally not. What happens when it all comes down is that the visible, notorious, middle members of that class take up the brunt of public anger and their place on the guillotine. And what typifies them in history is that they never see it coming. Haste the day.

True. In “The New Left”, a book of Ayn Rand essays, she has one that compares how the media glowingly reported on the Woodstock Festival compared to how they reported on the Moon Landing, talking of how “small” we now were, more than focusing on the greatness of the feat.
These journalists are just democrats/socialists. They go into journalism to advance socialism not to be reporters or have a career or make money ( those are way down on the list). They know that as reporters they can hide stories that will hurt the advancement of socialism (democrats). They know that as reporters they are in a position to fool and brainwash many. They feel they can make a difference as reporters where as an accountant they can only preach to their office coworkers, here they can preach to thousands or millions per year.
It's sickening to see these reporters worship Castro , Chavez , Obama and other socialist dictators. How stupid can you be thinking that socialism works? well they do.

I knew a Police Sergeant years ago who had an explanation. He said when your job brings you mostly into contact with criminals and scum you tend to develop the mindset that everyone is the same way.
Reporters also do the same, Criminals, the poor, those in trouble, financial, legal, family etc. After awhile they think that the public at large is all the same because who they come in contact with as they do their jobs. Only as reporters they carry a big stick known as newspaper circulation, TV and Radio news reporting. And they think they can change public opinion if they just keep hammering at the public the same ideas over and over. And it works eventually. Why? Because the medium they use doesn’t permit much back talk and free-flow of ideas and opinion.
Today we have Facebook and other social media based iside the internet. That allows a more free-flow of ideas back and forth. And the MSM bigwig reporters are now starting to feel the heat as individuals now can have the same soap box as the MSM and in many ways it’s more effective than the TV and Radio formats.
