The final act of the presidential campaign opens today with two new polls showing the race between Obama and Romney tightening. New polls, released this morning, from ABC/WaPo and Politico both show Obama's lead nationally has been cut to two points, 49-47. Also, in both polls, Romney leads Obama among Independents by four points.
Obviously, if Romney is leading among independents by four, yet trailing overall by two points, both polls have probably sampled more Democrats. Indeed, the WaPo poll is D+5. This is a big improvement over past WaPo polls, which assumed that Democrats would have a bigger turnout than 2008's D+7 electorate....

I don’t think there is a tide, I think Romney has been ahead ever since he won the nomination, all these polls are for show to try and intimidate pubs and to make dems feel better and deny the catastrophe ahead for them. Some of these lamebrain polls have Obama ahead more than he won in 08, that is just ridiculous garbage. Its all a dog and pony show put on by Pravda.

Hopefully Romney can turn it around during the debates. However, you all get ready for all the media saying either Obama won or “it was a tie” and have their infamous polls and focus groups to back up their bullshit.
Thirded. Obama has never been challenged in a hard way. I believe Romney (who has been practicing for months) will come out swinging and Obama will snap back. He won’t seem like a “nice guy” at all in these debates.

The same WAPO poll tried to show Mitt losing the swing states. Jen Rubin got the internals and says all the negative swing state data was based upon 160 people. 1. 6. 0. And those were likely overweighted dem.
Yes, it’s turning now and it will worsen since fraud pollsters can’t fudge as blatantly 6 weeks out without ruining their reps.
Polls aside, Romney is still standing going into debates. Obie has conceded those because he knows he can’t credibly defend his record
Univision has the entire Mexican population asking WTF with Obie and now John Elway and other NFL owners are piling on.

We all know the media is dead in this country. They sold their souls to the devil a long time ago. I think the majority of Americans see the media now as another arm of the Obama Administration, they will do ANYTHING to get Obama re-elected. They see him as the one guy who can turn America into the Socialist Utopia they have always wanted. I even saw a statement from Communist Party USA(Gee you would think if they loved Communism so much they would move to Venezuela) that if Obama loses “their dream is lost as well.” Well gee wiz, thats the WHOLE FREAKIN POINT..we don’t want Communism in this country!!
I think Romney has been up in the polls since Day 1..just like another poll I saw today that shows Romney is leading with people who think he will do a better job handling the economy, so Im supposed to believe that those same people who think Romney will handle the economy better will somehow still vote for Obama..the pravda media must think we are all idiots

We should all be hoping that this shamless “in the tank for Obie” stuff with the NY Slimes will be the final nail in it’s coffin. Carlos Slim needs to call his loan. Romney has some really good ads out—finally! The Leadership one that Hannity showed was excellent.
I actually saw the Rove map that had TN in PINK! Leaning Romney was the meaning. I will bet Rove his Net Worth where TN is leaning, he is ridiculous. TN will not vote democrat for President in my lifetime. Hell, Al Gore only needed TN to win, at least we were smart enough to see through that nut.

so true. I’m not buying any of it... the only reason the ‘polls’ are closing is because they want to be able to widen them after the first debate to convince people that their eyes and ears are lying to them, that Obama won the debate and that everyone thinks so.
