I have a great idea that will cement your support from a particular demographic and secure their votes for you in November! Not only will it do that, it will liven the debates considerably, give them an air of excitement and innovation, and totally disrupt and outrage your opponent, thus giving you a distinct edge in the area of spontaneous articulation, where perhaps your limited capacity might handicap you.
Instead of the debate being a drag, I suggest you APPEAR in DRAG, the more outrageous, the better.
This will endear you to the greatest majority of voters, for as you well know, scientists say that at LEAST 80% of voting-age Americans are REALLY Homosexual, but suppress these completely natural tendencies under a guise of clinging to their guns and religion. By setting an example, you will FREE these poor misguided unfortunates from the delusion that they must vote for a decent, monogamous, religious white male!

I also think the O camp is lowering expectations for Obama so that they can later say “see, O didn’t even have to try hard and he still won the debate”.
