This story makes me think of the hog farmer who got eaten by his own hogs. These Obama phone folks are the 700 lb hogs that Obama has been feeding. I have a feeling this group of hogs will turn around and eat old Bammy like hogs are known to do. And all the turning around in the world won’t help him one bit.

I've been trying to find out who the Obamaphone Lady is. As far as I know she hasn't been otherwise identified

I think the missing word is low, as in, "Everybody in Cleveland, low minority, got Obama phone!"

I just found a cache of the page, but you better move quick: go to baidu.com (it’s a Chinese search engine, but safe) - you can type the search term in English. The Chinese lettering on the last line of the search result is the cached page - for obamaphone.net, it is currently 9/23/12 and it is the page we are looking for. The President also announced that Gilberto Cárdenas and José B. Fernández, currently Members of the Commission, will continue their service on the Commission.

"I am pleased to appoint these outstanding men and women to the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of the American Latino – a museum that would be dedicated to celebrating the history and achievements of Latinos in America," said President Obama. "It is fitting that, as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, these individuals will reinvigorate the efforts of this commission to honor the contributions of Latinos and Latinas to our country."

On May 8, 2008 the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of the American Latino Act was signed into law. It created a 23 member commission, made up of appointees of the President and House and Senate leadership, tasked with studying over a two year period the feasibility of and plan for a new national museum in the nation’s capital that is dedicated to portraying the art, history, and culture of the Latino population of the United States.

good work — it’s incredible (I don’t know why I keep saying that) that they totally changed the text, imaging and and “credit” about this program on the page that’s up there now at http://obamaphone.net/. I’m grabbing that one, too, in case it changes again.

He must be really putting pressure on that company to absolve him of any guilty credit.

Team Obama was perfectly willing to take all the credit available from the participants, but now that the taxpayers know about it, they are demanding to be disassociated from the program.

The new site also tells curious readers that the program is not paid for by taxes, but by fees collected by the phone companies from paying phone users because the government demands it. Somehow, that's not a tax.

See my links above - the cache is still the old page, I just checked it. They are scrubbing them almost as fast as anyone can locate them - you’d think it was Watergate fingerprints?!?!
