This is just Lifeline, and that’s all it ever was.
It never started as an Obama program. It’s been around for many years. I heard of it years and years ago.
But don’t let me get in the way of getting all excited over nothing.
No, this is not just Lifeline. This is actually being advertised as the “Obama Phone,” on its own website, where it mentions that the program was started under Bush as “Lifeline” service, but has now been expanded and enhanced by Obama. Then it tells you “how to get your Obama Phone.”
