As stated earlier by one of the Freepers “Any well founded religion can survive blasphemy except (i)slam and that is the reason it is forbidden” In my humble opinion, (i)slam is just about as useful as socialism.

socialism had its uses in the 1800s when it eliminated child labor and reduced working hours to 48 hours a week and ensured basic worker safety in factories

But, like all good man-made philosophies, it has served its purpose in Europe -- but still has a role to play in China where workers are treated horribly

Also, like all man-made philosophies, it creates a monster if taken to extremes -- that monster being communism

in other man-made philosophies we have liberalism, which started off as being against the feudal caste/class system and now is, well...
