Citizenship and Voter I.D. Laws Could Keep 10 Million Latinos From Voting

Latinos in the U.S. comprise more than 10% of the nation’s eligible voters and approximately 8% of its registered voters, but according to a new report, demands for proof of citizenship and photo identification requirements in several states could prevent at least 10 million Latino citizens from voting.

“Like African Americans, Latinos have experienced decreased access and correspondingly lower levels of voter registration and participation than non-Hispanic whites,” said the report titled ( “Segregating American Citizenship: Latino Voter Disenfranchisement in 2012.”) The report was released Monday by the civil rights organization Advancement Project.

The report found 23 states have “legal barriers” that can keep eligible Latino voters from the voting booth—and In many states, the number of eligible Latino citizens that could be affected by these barriers exceeds the margin of victory of the 2008 presidential election.

Jorge, you ignorant puta ....
Cabron, es muy facil: If people 1. from Hispanola 2. who speak Latin, are American citizens and want to take the trouble to vote, they can vote. So go peddle your papers you race-baiting maricon.
Go get your shine box, you muck-raking ... grumble, grumble grumble

I’m so sick of this shite. But think how bad it would be if Obama had not brought us all together with his racial healing.
C’mon Willard, butter his necktie tonight!

Damn!
A shameless two-fer.

I should certainly hope they're prevented from voting!

I just have to laugh at the ridiculous number; it is at least twice that many.
Not a citizen? You're not entitled to vote.
Not a legal resident? You're not entitled to vote.

That is not going to change any time soon.

Check with Univision, or The Fox Illegals Channel. See how many illegal, non-citizen Americans in Mexico are prohibited from voting in Mexico.
If that Mexican law is broken, the perp first has to do mandatory jail time. Then he's deported permanently.

Why aren’t they complaining about voter registration laws? Those could potentially prevent hundreds of millions of people from getting to vote if they don’t obey the law.

Until these recent laws, people registering to vote could establish a range of eligibility requirements – including voting age, citizenship, and residency – by swearing under penalty of perjury their compliance with these requirements.

From the report linked in the story.
READ THE REPORT.

Scary stuff.
Most militant illegal aliens lie. 24/7. About everything.

I see it and hear it three times a week without fail.
I am fortunate to be perfectly fluent in both English and Spanish. My entire life. My first grades in school were totally bilingual. I understand Spanish perfectly. My last exposure to fraud was walking through a "student lounge" in a school which is mostly illegal aliens and hearing two people walking by and one of them was telling the other, "I just told them that I was from (name of city) so they would allow me access to the classes."

What could possibly cause any rational person to think that if they lie about trivial things, that they won't lie about rights and privileges reserved for citizens?

Just as they rightfully do in Mexico!

and let’s be clear, latinos are not white, they are latinos. time to end the stupid pc charade of lumping them into the white category when they are not. it’s as dumb as saying blacks are whites because some of them have very light compexions.

Bull puckey. Even in Michigan where we have a citizenship check box, its meaningless unless IF you're breaking the law.

There.
Fixed it for you.
