I’d tell my kids to wrap them up in napkins first...
Welcome to 1984
...at least they aren’t tossing salads.
Why not just look into the trash cans and see what has been thrown in?
In elementary school back in the 1950’s, I would stuff those awful stewed tomatoes into my empty milk carton because the school principal would stand over the trash cans to check our trays.
Then the kids should just throw them under the lunch table rather than be subjected to Big Brother’s telescreens.
,,,,, and don’t forget ,,, the “brown bag police” will be checking lunches brought from home as well .
Maybe they can name this the Stasi Can Cam.
One local talk show host bemoaned the death of the Soviet Union because we would no longer have them as a bad example: "Trash can cam? Don't they have those in the USSR? [Thick Russian accent] Comrade, did you just throw away beet? Do you want to go to gulag or revolutionary psychiatric hospital?"
,,,,,, all we are is just another brick in the wall .
If Michelle weren’t so huge none of this would be happening.
When I was in elementary school the fruit in school lunches was canned pears at least twice a week. They were so disgusting, I still won’t eat pears today, too many bad memories of slime masquerading as food.
Is this training for future TSA agents?
Maybe B.O. can get a job as a cafeteria monitor after the election. (oh, sorry, not qualified)
Kids getting a most instructive lesson in government power all for the price of some veggies.
We need one of those “OBEY” posters with a sub caption of “Eat your vegetables. Big Brother is watching.”
Kids will always beat the system. If the unwanted food isn’t allowed in the garbage, it will be put somewhere else. Limit calories, they’ll smuggle in candy bars. With government bullying, there are always unintended consequences.
The cameras will allow identification of the students “wasting” government food. Once identified, the parents of the guilty students can be fined and punished for the waste of resources by their kids.
My question is what do they do to a child who throws away their vegetables?
Time for some perspective here. Parents pay the taxes for the salaries, the building, the food, etc. Parents should tell the school “Change the f’ing menu’’. End of story.
How much are they planning on spending on these Trash-Cams, and don't we have something more important that the money should be spent on? Has emperor Hussein 0bama decreed that it is a crime to toss veggies?
