0bama should’ve sent a team in to secure the compound. But we saw how he handled a drone lost to Iran. This was nothing to him. A gain for the terrorists that will compromise other U.S. activities. Oh boy!

The itinerary of Stevens’s trip to Benghazi includes a near-full accounting of his planned movements during what was supposed to be a visit that lasted from Sept. 10 until Sept. 15. It includes names and phone numbers of Libyans who scheduled were to meet with him. Some of those Libyans have not made their contact with Stevens public and could be at risk if it were publicly known.

The meetings include briefings with American officials, a private dinner with influential local leaders, and meetings with militia heads, businesspeople, civil society activists and educators. The highlight of the visit was the opening of the American Space, a center intended to serve as a hub for U.S. culture and education.

Yeah, WaPo, we’ve known about this for a while. Good job exposing it the day of the first debate.

Wow! So the Washington Postis reporting team Obama's gigantic failure in Libya? I'm feeling faint.

What's next, the New York Times reporting on the empty chair pesidency?

Better late than never, I guess.

Meanwhile the FBI can't get to Bengazi because it is too dangerous. Obama is doing a wonderful job of removing any remaining respect the US may have in the Arab world.

...the personnel records of Libyans who were contracted to secure the mission...

The incompetence of this administartion is now going to get friendly Libyans killed and make it extremely hard for US embassies around the world to secure the trust of the local population.

“when a Washington Post reporter and a translator visited Wednesday.” Gotta hand it to the FBI-a reporter can get in, but they can’t.

The FBI has some very tough customers, who routinely fly to total hell-holes to conduct the overseas parts of investigations. Many are former military SpecOps officers.

The fact that they have not visited Benghazi, while CNN and WaPo reporters have, means that Hillary Clinton’s State Dept wants to keep them AWAY from Behghazi. Period. Otherwise, they would have been there weeks ago.
