Definitely CSPAN, and there’ll be a crawler announcing the time. I can’t watch or listen.

Debate proper is scheduled to start at 9 PM Eastern. CSPAN or similar, because there are no side commentators. You get to listen and form your own opinion without the unhelpful helpers.

LOL. Okay. Second laugh of the day here....and in my first reply to you I should have said, you are so right that the zingers are what will be repeated if there are any. Not anything of substance...just nasty, undignified zingers.

Oh, me too! I can’t listen, so will follow FR with the TV on mute! Too much anxiety here. If there should be bad news, I want to hear it from FReepers.

That the problem with a politically corrupt, state directed media. No matter how incompetent the President is tonight, his propaganda arm in the Establishment Media will cover for him. They will simply excuse or ignore any gaffe he trots out.

Watch for FRAUDULENT ARTICULATION in Mister Obama's speaking style.

If you heard any of Mister Obamas 2007 speech, did you hear any hard, "hissy", over-enunciated S sounds?

Nope, me neither.

But, my FRiends, watch Mister Obama tonight, and I would wager that he over-enunciates his S sounds like a hissing snake.

This artificially affected enunciation might make him seem more professorial, however judging from his 2007 speaking style, the hard "S" sounds are totally fake.

Listen for the counterfeit (and condescending) ssssccpeaking sssscctyle in tonight'sssscc debate.

Sad isn’t it? What most of our people lap up is not the record and the facts, it who can cough up the nastiest comment tonight.

Allen West's comments on Obama in the tape Hannity had on last night:

“First of all, having been born and raised down in Georgia, I’m very surprised at the incredible southern accent that the president, who was born in Hawaii and grew up in Chicago, was able to command,”

I'll be missing the debate tonight, but I just wanted to offer a prayer for Romney, who, after all is fighting this battle for us. I believe with all my heart that if we don't win this election we will never see another republican president.

Father I lift up Romney to you, I pray for the wisdom of Solomon, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and a sharp tongue to sting his opponent. I also pray that You cause confusion in the mind of Obama and that his tongue will stick to the roof of his mouth... In Jesus name I pray!

No, I don’t. Romney is a bad choice but he is the only game in town. He at least sees that spending chart as a problem. Obama thinks we have not spent enough!

"What most of our people lap up is not the record and the facts, it who can cough up the nastiest comment tonight."

The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. And you can "go after someone" substantively without "nastiness". I don't think anyone wants Mitt to be a jerk, just hard hitting.

It makes me weary, johnnie. I am old enough to remember debates of substance and dignity. Statesmen...Reagan,Dole, Simpson...those days are gone. Sadly enough.
