Massacre leaves liberals in tears
NY Post ^ | 10/4/12 | JOHN PODHORETZ

Slaughter. It was a slaughter.

Mitt Romney put on the most commanding presidential debate performance of the insta-commentary era. One could literally watch, on Facebook and Twitter, hundreds of people on both sides of the political divide react in real time as the debate went on.

Their reactions were identical, though their moods were not: As Romney dominated exchange after exchange with a surprisingly effective combination of pointed personal touches and remarkable factual preparation, conservatives and Republicans grew more and more jubilant while liberals and Democrats grew more and more alarmed.

I agree. Bozo did not want to be debating last night. If he could cancel the next two he would. He knows he is useless without TOTUS
I think he will be terrified the next time around, knowing what Romney is capable of.
Romney, having soundly won this round should be as well prepared the next time too.

As I noted on another thread, though worded differently, two of the most dangerous roles to play in the world this morning are

1) 0's debate coach

2) Libyan AQ operative

either one could be in line for a sever whupping

it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Hollywood actors and directors come out in full force to coach Obama for his next debates on how to act/behave in front of the camera. They’re probably burning up the Whitehouse phone lines right now as we speak. “Mr. President, George Clooney is on line one.”

Not that I am real old, but I have been watching these since the Nixon era. Last night may have been the best POTUS debate performance I have ever seen. It was jaw dropping.

Howie Carr said it best....

Did you notice how Obama kept looking away from Romney? It took a while to figure out who he was looking for, but then I realized — it was TOTUS, his missing TelePrompTer of the United States.

Prez ‘crushed’ by Romney

Howie Carr

If last night’s debate was a prizefight, it would have been stopped at 9:25 p.m.

I had a feeling Obama might have a problem when I heard he was using John Kerry as his Mitt Romney stand-in. If that was the best Liveshot could do getting Barack ready for Mitt, he should be fired this morning even before Bobby Valentine gets his walking papers.

Did you notice how Obama kept looking away from Romney? It took a while to figure out who he was looking for, but then I realized — it was TOTUS, his missing TelePrompTer of the United States.

No one should ever use the words “cerebral” and “Barack” in the same sentence ever again. He bragged about cutting taxes $3,600 for middle-class families — “maybe they can buy a new car.”

And they said George H.W. Bush was out of touch!

It wasn’t just that Romney was smart. It was that Barack was revealed as a clueless dolt...

It's obvious. Obama is an incompent fool. The lack of TOTUS proves this.

"Instead of doing debate preparation, Obama took the family to Hoover Dam."

A sacrifice for O, he really wanted to play golf at the Boulder City Golf Club.

Obama killed Bin Laden AND the ECONOMY!!

Obama betrayed and killed the SEAL team that killed bin Laden. He is currently betraying the American people, and destroying their economy as a form of reparations to the world for what he sees as America's unjust rise to preeminence among nations...a sin for which he holds all of Western civilization guilty, but in his mind America is the foremost criminal, because it was the greatest superpower, had the most powerful economy, the highest standard of living.

That is why his masters chose what they saw as an economic target for their righteous anger, not a religious or government target as their primary goal. The Twin Towers represented America's financial power, the unholy alliance between socialism and Muslim jihad demanded a strategy in which America was to be taken down economically. Liberal Democrats prepared the beach head, and Obama was chosen as the tool of their next wave of assault. Judge for yourself whether there strategy was successful.

When Obama runs out of gas, it will be when his purpose is complete, but it will not mean that the socialist jihad is finished. It means that they have successfully softened us up, and when they make their next move, it will be a move that they feel is decisive.

Never party so loud, that you can't hear the dog barking.

I’ve been seeing regular tell tale signs that make me agree on the drug use question... if I was seeing these signs with someone in my neighborhood, I have an idea what substance I’d be guessing. No way I can even say it about even a treasonous president without some proof, though.

I considered your post then had to dismiss it. The Undecideds watched the first debate but I doubt they tune in with the same numbers for the next one. These people are undecided about EVERYTHING, not just politics.

It is very hard to prep for a debate when you have been clueless all your life about anything except raising racial tensions.

I think Obama may have AIDS. He looks like a skeleton. If things keep going badly for him don’t be surprised if it is revealed that he is sick, if it is true or not, and has to withdraw from the election.

Ditto to your remarks. Very evident that Obama is not presidential material and should have never been elected.

The prediction by some person, though, last night, that Obama would be elected was alarming in view of this debate.

I agree, Romney did a great job. And I think we also have to give a lot of credit to Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, Cain and even Trump for helping Romney get to where he is now.
